Do we need any previous art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our university graffiti workshops in Ceske Budejovice are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to those with a creative streak. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and moving on to filling techniques and 3D effects. You will be amazed at what you can achieve in just a couple of hours with the right guidance and high-quality spray cans!

Is the graffiti workshop safe and what about the fumes?

We take safety seriously. We provide all participants with high-quality FFP2 masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. The workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or legal graffiti zones. We use professional-grade spray paint, and our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun and hazard-free environment for all students.

Where in Ceske Budejovice do the workshops take place?

We offer total flexibility for university groups in Ceske Budejovice. We can host the session at one of the city's legal graffiti walls, or we can bring the workshop directly to your campus or student union building using large mobile canvases or temporary wooden walls. If you choose an on-campus event, we ensure full floor protection and safety barriers are in place to keep the area tidy.

How long does a typical university graffiti session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows for a brief introduction to street art culture, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice time, and the creation of a large-scale collaborative piece or individual canvases. We can also adapt the timing to fit into your student society schedule or a specific university orientation day event.

What is included in the workshop package?

Everything is included in the price! We provide the spray paint in a huge variety of colours, caps/nozzles, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the surface to paint on (either a legal wall or mobile canvases). We even handle the setup and the cleanup afterwards. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty!

What happens if it rains or the artist is sick?

We have a 'The Show Must Go On' policy! Unlike freelance artists who might cancel last minute, Graffitifun has a large team. If your assigned artist falls ill, we have backup professionals ready to step in. For weather, we keep a close eye on the forecast. If it looks like rain, we can often move the session to a covered location or reschedule to ensure you get the best experience possible.

How do we book and what are the payment terms?

Getting a price is easy. You can use our online Cost Calculator for an instant estimate, or simply send us a request with your group size and date. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is complete and you're happy with the results. We offer competitive rates for student groups to make street art accessible to the university community.

Local culture

Ceske Budejovice isn't just about historic squares and world-class brewing; it's a city with a growing urban pulse! As a major student hub thanks to the University of South Bohemia, the city has a fresh energy that perfectly complements the street art scene. While the historic centre is preserved, the outskirts and student districts are becoming a playground for modern expression.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Czech Republic has a very active legal graffiti scene? In cities like Ceske Budejovice, certain walls are designated 'legal zones' where artists are encouraged to paint, keeping the city vibrant while respecting its classical architecture! 🏰✨

Our workshops often take place near these creative hotspots, allowing you to breathe in the local atmosphere while adding your own chapter to the city's visual story. Whether we are near the Vltava river or on campus, you'll feel the local "Budweis" spirit in every spray!
