Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most university students in Liberec who join us have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics—nozzles, pressure control, and safety. By the time we move to the main piece, you'll feel confident and ready to create something awesome. It's all about the experience and having a blast with your friends, not being a gallery-ready artist on day one.

What materials are included in the university workshop?

We provide everything you need to create your masterpiece in Liberec. This includes a wide variety of high-quality spray paint colours, various cap sizes for different effects, protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality respiratory masks. We also bring practice boards or canvases depending on your chosen package. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on!

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for student groups—it gives you enough time to learn the techniques through our intro session, practice your tags, and then complete a large-scale collaborative mural or individual pieces without feeling rushed. If you have a specific schedule or event timeline, we can always adapt the duration!

Can you accommodate large student groups or societies?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are a small student society of 10 people or part of a massive university-wide festival for hundreds, we have the team to handle it. For very large groups in Liberec, we provide multiple artists and 'rotation stations' to ensure everyone gets hands-on time with the spray cans and stays engaged throughout the entire event.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority at Graffitifun. We provide professional-grade FFP2 or FFP3 masks for all participants to ensure no fumes are inhaled. We also use high-quality, low-pressure paints that are easier to control. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, and we always ensure the workshop area is well-ventilated, whether indoors or outdoors.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

Liberec's weather can be unpredictable, but we've got you covered. If you have an indoor space available (like a hall or garage), we can set up there using protective floor coverings. Alternatively, we can use our backup artists to reschedule or, in many cases, provide pop-up tents. We always discuss a 'Plan B' with you during the booking process so your university event goes off without a hitch.

How does the payment process work for student organisations?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'play now, pay later' policy. We don't require any upfront payment to secure your university booking in Liberec. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed and everyone is happy. We accept bank transfers and provide full VAT invoices, making it easy for student unions or university departments to process the payment.

Why choose Graffitifun for your uni event? 🎨

We’ve been doing this for years, and we know exactly how to get a student crowd hyped. Here’s why we’re the best choice for your Liberec university session:

🔥 Real Artists: You won't be taught by some boring teacher—our guys live and breathe street art culture.
💰 Affordable Fun: We offer competitive rates that fit within student union budgets without skimping on quality.
🚀 Ultimate Stress Relief: There's nothing like the 'pssssh' of a spray can to help you forget about exams for a few hours.
📸 Social Media Gold: Your Instagram feed is going to look incredible with all the colourful action shots we'll get.
🤝 Team Vibes: Nothing brings a student society together like collaborating on a massive 10-metre mural!
🛡️ Risk-Free: With no upfront payment and backup artists available, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

The intro: We start with a high-energy introduction to the history of street art and the basic science of the spray can.
Safety first: Everyone gets suited up in protective gear and learns the essential 'do's and don'ts' of spray painting.
First lines: You'll head to the practice wall to learn 'can control'—making dots, thin lines, and thick flares.
Sketching the vision: Work with our artists to sketch out your design, whether it's your uni logo or a custom piece of art.
Filling and fading: Learn the professional secrets of 'filling in' and creating smooth colour gradients and fades.
The outline: This is where the magic happens! We'll show you how to 'cut' your lines to make the piece look sharp and clean.
Highlights and details: Add those final 'pops' like 3D effects, shines, and 'force fields' to make the art jump off the wall.
Photo op: We finish with a massive group photo in front of your finished mural—perfect for the university's social media.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Liberec is a city that perfectly blends historic architecture with a gritty, modern edge, all under the watchful eye of the Ještěd Tower. While it might be known for its winter sports and the awesome Technical University (TUL), there's a growing appreciation for urban culture tucked away in its industrial corners. Our workshops tap into that unique "North Bohemian" spirit—creative, resilient, and always looking for the next big adventure. We love bringing our cans to this city because the student vibe here is always top-tier.

Fun Fact: Liberec is home to one of the most futuristic buildings in the world—the Ještěd Tower. While we can't let you spray the tower itself, many of our students take inspiration from its sci-fi silhouette when designing their graffiti pieces! 🗼
