Do students need any prior art experience to join?

Absolutely! No previous drawing skills are required for our Liepaja after-school program. Our professional artists are experts at breaking down complex mural techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on building confidence and having fun, ensuring every student walks away with a piece of art they are proud of and newfound creative skills.

Is the spray paint safe for children and teenagers?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our spray paints are selected for their safety standards, and all sessions are supervised by experienced professionals who ensure the equipment is used correctly and the workspace is well-ventilated at all times.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard after-school workshop session usually lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This timeframe provides the perfect balance for a theoretical introduction, practice on drafting boards, and the final execution of the graffiti piece. We can also adapt the duration to fit into specific school schedules or community centre time slots.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), caps, and the painting surfaces. We also bring inspiration sketches and markers for the design phase. Students just need to wear comfortable clothes they don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

What is the minimum age for participants?

Our workshops in Liepaja are designed for children aged 8 and up. We find that this is the perfect age where they have the motor skills to handle the spray cans and the creative focus to design their own tags. For older teenagers, we offer more advanced techniques like 3D shading and complex character design.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

While Liepaja is known as the city where the wind is born, we don't let a breeze stop the fun! If we are working outdoors and the weather turns, we often have indoor alternatives or can use covered areas. We also have backup artists available to ensure that your scheduled session goes ahead smoothly regardless of minor hitches.

How much does an after-school workshop cost?

The cost typically ranges from €18 to €38 per student, depending on the size of the group and the specific project requirements. We offer flexible pricing for Liepaja schools and youth clubs. The best part? You don't have to pay anything upfront—payment is only settled after the workshop is successfully completed.

The experience

Why settle for ordinary when you can offer extraordinary? Graffiti isn't just about paint on walls; it's about building identity, focus, and teamwork. Here is why our Liepaja workshops are a hit:

Unleash Creativity: We move beyond the sketchbook, giving students a massive canvas to explore their imagination. 🚀
Expert Mentorship: Learn from real street artists who live and breathe the culture, not just art teachers. 🔥
Confidence Boost: There is nothing like the "I made that!" feeling when a student finishes their first big piece. 💪
Safe & Professional: We use high-quality gear and protective clothing, so the only thing staying colourful is the art! 🛡️
Stress-Free Booking: Use our Cost Calculator for instant estimates and enjoy the peace of mind of our No Upfront Payment policy. 🏆
Total Fun: From choosing colours to the final spray, we guarantee a high-energy experience every single time. 🎉

Step by step

Intro and safety briefing: We kick things off with a quick chat about graffiti history and, most importantly, how to use the equipment safely and respectfully.
Design and sketching: Students grab markers and paper to sketch their ideas, learning about 'tags', 'throw-ups', and 'pieces'.
Cap control basics: We head to the boards to learn how different caps change the spray width, practicing lines, dots, and fades.
Outline execution: It is time to go big! Students transfer their paper sketches onto the canvas or wall using thin spray lines.
Fill-in techniques: This is where the colour comes in. We teach how to fill shapes evenly and how to create cool gradients.
Second outlines and highlights: To make the art 'pop', we add sharp outer lines and those vital white 'shine' spots.
Shadows and 3D effects: Our artists demonstrate how to add depth to letters, making them look like they are jumping off the wall.
Final touches and photos: We clean up the edges and take awesome group photos with the finished masterpieces.
Cleanup and wrap-up: Students learn that a true artist always leaves their workspace tidy before heading home.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Liepaja has always had a rebellious, artistic soul—from its legendary rock music history to the hauntingly beautiful vibes of Karosta. The street art scene here is growing, and we love drawing inspiration from the city's unique maritime atmosphere and industrial backdrop. It is the perfect playground for young artists to find their voice. 🌊

Fun Fact: Did you know Liepaja is known as the "City where the wind is born"? While the wind is great for kitesurfing, we teach our students how to handle a spray can like a pro, even when there's a Baltic breeze blowing! 💨

We are proud to serve the entire Liepaja area, from the city centre to Ezerkrast and beyond, bringing top-tier street art education to Latvian youth. If you are also interested in workshops in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, or Jurmala, we have got you covered there too!

Pricing

Our after-school graffiti experiences in Liepaja are designed to be accessible and affordable for schools and families alike. Prices generally range between €18 and €38 per person.

Please note that the final price depends on the number of participants, the duration of the programme, and the materials needed for your specific project. We believe in transparency and fun, which is why you never pay anything until the workshop is completed!
