Do we need any previous art experience to participate? spinning

Absolutely no prior artistic talent is needed! Our Liepaja leadership training is designed to get people out of their comfort zones. Our professional artists guide you through the basics of spray painting, ensuring everyone feels confident. The focus is on the process of collaboration, creative problem-solving, and communication rather than creating a Da Vinci masterpiece. You'll be surprised at what your team can achieve when they work together on a large-scale mural!

What should our team wear for the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, the Baltic wind in Liepaja can sometimes carry a bit of 'overspray.' It's best to dress for the weather if we are working outdoors, and perhaps bring an extra layer just in case. We'll take care of all the safety gear like masks and gloves.

Where in Liepaja does the leadership training take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the workshop at various cool locations across Liepaja, from industrial sites near the Karosta to central creative hubs. If you have a specific venue in mind, or even your own office space with an outdoor area, we can come to you. Our team brings all the boards, plastic covering, and materials needed to ensure the site remains clean and safe throughout the session.

How long does a typical graffiti leadership session last?

A standard leadership workshop typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the 'ice-breaker' sketching phase, learning the techniques, and the main collaborative painting session where the leadership dynamics really come into play. We can also tailor the duration to fit into a larger corporate retreat schedule or a half-day intensive session, depending on your team's specific goals and timeline.

What happens if it rains on the day of our event?

Rain won't stop the creativity! We always have a 'Plan B' ready. If the Liepaja weather takes a turn, we can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor ventilated space using water-based, low-odour spray cans. We also have a network of backup artists available, so your event is guaranteed to go ahead regardless of unforeseen circumstances. We make sure the fun and learning continue rain or shine.

How does graffiti actually translate to leadership skills?

The workshop is structured to highlight different leadership styles and the importance of a shared vision. As the team works on a singular, large-scale mural, they must negotiate space, colours, and roles. It naturally reveals how the team handles conflict, who takes initiative, and how they support one another. Our trainers facilitate a 'wrap-up' talk at the end to connect the creative experience back to your specific workplace challenges.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We focus on small to medium-sized groups to ensure high-quality interaction, typically starting from 10 participants up to 50 or more. For very large corporate groups, we split the team into smaller 'crews' that must collaborate on different sections of a massive wall, which adds another layer of inter-departmental communication training. Just let us know your group size, and we will create a custom setup that ensures everyone is fully engaged.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your leadership training in Liepaja? Because street art is the ultimate metaphor for business: it’s fast-paced, collaborative, and requires a clear vision to succeed. ✨

Break down hierarchies: In front of a wall, everyone wears the same overalls. It’s a great leveller that encourages open communication. 🤝
Visualise the vision: Moving from a blank wall to a finished mural helps leaders practice setting clear, visual goals for their teams. 🎯
Agile problem solving: Paint drips, colours clash, and plans change. We teach your team to adapt and find creative solutions on the fly. 🚀
Boosted morale: There is nothing quite like the 'high' of creating something massive and beautiful together. It’s a genuine confidence booster! 💪
Risk-free experimentation: Our workshop provides a safe space for leaders to try new approaches without the fear of real-world business failure.
Professional guidance: Our veteran graffiti artists aren't just painters; they are facilitators who know how to draw out the best in people. 🏆

Step by step

Initial briefing: We start with a quick intro to the history of street art and how it relates to modern leadership and teamwork.
Concept sketching: Your team brainstorms a central theme or 'vision' for the mural, encouraging everyone to voice their ideas.
Technique masterclass: Our pro artists show you the ropes—from 'can control' and 'fading' to creating clean lines and outlines.
Role delegation: The team decides who handles which part of the wall, mimicking project management in a high-pressure environment.
The first layer: Start filling in the big blocks of colour. This is where the energy builds and the team starts seeing the scale of their work.
Detailing and 'style': Individuals add their personal flair to the piece while ensuring it fits the collective theme.
The 'cut-in': Using black or white to define edges—this stage requires intense focus and coordination between adjacent painters.
Signature and reveal: The team signs off on their collective masterpiece, taking a moment to appreciate the shared achievement.
Reflection session: A brief facilitated chat about the leadership dynamics observed during the process and how to apply them at work.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Liepaja is a city that breathes creativity, from the hauntingly beautiful ruins of the Karosta to the modern beats of the Great Amber Concert Hall. The city’s history of resilience and artistic rebellion makes it the ultimate location for a graffiti leadership workshop. Street art is already part of the urban fabric here, echoing the city's musical soul and maritime strength. 🌊

Fun Fact: Liepaja is known as the rock-and-roll capital of Latvia! Just like a great band, a great street art crew (and a great management team) needs rhythm, harmony, and the courage to try something loud and new.

As you paint, you'll feel the influence of the Baltic Sea breeze and the local "can-do" attitude that defines this region. We take inspiration from the city's famous murals and its industrial heritage to help your team build something as lasting and impactful as the city itself.
