How does a workshop help prevent vandalism in Ettelbruck?

The primary goal is to channel creative energy into constructive outlets. Instead of illegal tagging on public property, we teach participants the techniques and history of street art in a controlled environment. By providing a legal canvas and professional guidance, we reduce the urge for vandalism and foster a sense of pride and ownership over communal spaces. It is about transformation through education.

Do I need any previous art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our workshops are designed for everyone from total beginners to those who have held a spray can once or twice. Our professional artists walk you through every step, from basic line work to complex filling techniques. You don't need any prior artistic skill—just a positive attitude and a willingness to try something new. We make sure everyone leaves with a piece they are proud of.

Is the workshop safe for teenagers and younger participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks to prevent fume inhalation and gloves to keep your hands clean. Our artists are trained to supervise the sessions closely, ensuring spray cans are used responsibly and safely. We also use professional-grade materials that meet all safety standards, ensuring a worry-free creative environment for all ages.

What should I wear to the graffiti session?

We recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on! While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti paint can be unpredictable. Comfortable shoes are also a must, as you’ll be on your feet and moving around your masterpiece. Think of it as 'creative workwear'—practicality is much more important than high fashion when you're at the wall!

How long does a typical anti-vandalism workshop last?

The workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, a safety briefing, a brainstorming session for your designs, and plenty of time for the actual painting. We believe in a relaxed pace so you never feel rushed while perfecting your tag or mural. We can also adjust the duration to fit your specific event schedule.

Where in Ettelbruck do these workshops take place?

Most of our sessions take place at dedicated legal graffiti walls or mobile canvas setups in and around Ettelbruck. If you have a specific private location in mind—like a school yard or a community centre—we can often bring the workshop to you! We provide all the necessary protection to ensure the surrounding area stays clean while we focus on the art.

How do I pay, and what happens if I need to cancel?

No upfront payment is required when you book your session with Graffitifun. You can pay after the workshop is completed, giving you peace of mind that you only pay for an experience you are 100% happy with. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. We make the booking process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Local culture

Ettelbruck, often called the "Patton Town", is a place where history and modern culture collide. While it’s famous for its links to General Patton and the Remembrance Day celebrations, there is a growing appetite for contemporary urban expression. By bringing our street art workshops here, we aim to add a splash of modern Luxembourgish colour to the local scene. We love the vibe near the Alzette and Sauer rivers, and we want to ensure the town's walls stay beautiful by teaching the next generation to respect public space through art. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Ettelbruck is the central hub of Luxembourg's North? Its central location makes it the perfect meeting point for artists from Luxembourg City and Esch-sur-Alzette!
