Is graffiti painting safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We use high-quality spray paints and provide all participants with protective overalls, gloves, and specialised masks. Our professional artists are experienced in teaching kids how to handle the equipment properly, ensuring a controlled and secure environment. It is much safer than a traditional football or adventure party, and twice as much fun! We also choose well-ventilated locations for every session.

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

For our Ettelbruck birthday parties, we generally recommend a minimum age of 7 or 8. At this age, kids have the motor skills to handle the spray cans and follow the creative instructions. However, we can adapt sessions for slightly younger groups with additional supervision. If you have a mixed-age group, just let us know, and we will tailor the complexity of the workshop to suit everyone.

Do the kids need any prior drawing or art skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist starts with a clear demonstration of basic techniques, from 'fat caps' to 'skinny lines'. Most kids are amazed at how quickly they can create something that looks professional. We provide stencils and guidance to help everyone feel like a master artist by the end of the afternoon. It is all about the process!

How long does a typical birthday workshop last?

The workshop usually lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides enough time for the safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of their masterpiece. If you want a more intensive session or have a very large group, we can extend the duration. We find this timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for keeping kids engaged and excited without them getting tired.

Can you host the party at our home?

We are very flexible! We can host the party at one of our dedicated street art spots in Luxembourg, or if you have a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated garage at home in Ettelbruck, we can often come to you. We handle all the protective floor and wall coverings to ensure your property stays paint-free. Just tell us your preference, and we will make it happen.

What should the children wear to the workshop?

While we provide protective overalls and gloves, we always recommend that the kids wear 'old' clothes and sneakers. Even with protection, spray paint is permanent, and kids can be quite enthusiastic! It is better to wear something that you don't mind getting a little speck of colour on. We provide everything else, including masks, cans, and the canvases the children get to keep. 🎨

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

In the event of light rain, we often work under cover or marquees. If the weather is truly uncooperative, we have backup plans. One of the best things about Graffitifun is our reliability; we have backup artists ready to go so your party is never cancelled due to staff illness. We always keep a close eye on the Luxembourgish weather forecast to ensure your child’s big day goes off without a hitch.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Ettelbruck, known as the 'Patton Town' and the heart of northern Luxembourg, has a vibrant, growing appreciation for modern culture. While it is famous for its history and the agricultural fair, the local youth scene is buzzing with energy. Our workshops take that Ettelbruck spirit and channel it into colourful street art that reflects the town's dynamic atmosphere. We love hosting events near the Alzette and Sauer rivers, where the natural light makes every spray-painted colour pop! 🌳

Fun Fact: Did you know Ettelbruck is a major transport hub? Just like the trains connecting the country, graffiti is a global language that connects artists from Luxembourg City to the smallest villages. We bring that international urban vibe right to your doorstep in the 9000 postcode! 🚂💪
