Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our anti-vandalism program in Sarpsborg is designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from holding the can correctly to mastering spray pressure. We focus on technique and creative expression, ensuring that everyone walks away with a piece of art they are proud of, regardless of their previous drawing skills. It is all about having fun and learning something new!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 respirators to protect against fumes, as well as protective coveralls and gloves to keep your clothes clean. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Additionally, our instructors are experienced professionals who provide comprehensive safety briefings before any paint is sprayed, ensuring a secure environment for all participants to enjoy their creative journey.

How long does the workshop usually last?

A standard anti-vandalism workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows us to cover the theory of legal vs. illegal art, practice basic techniques on plastic film or boards, and finally complete a collaborative or individual masterpiece. We can also customise the duration to fit into a specific school schedule or corporate event timeline if you have time constraints.

What should I wear to the graffiti session?

Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy, just in case! While we provide full-body protective suits, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto shoes or sleeves. We recommend wearing old trainers rather than your brand-new designer shoes. Since Sarpsborg weather can be unpredictable, please dress according to the temperature if we are working at an outdoor location.

How much does a workshop in Sarpsborg cost?

The price typically ranges from kr300 to kr650 per person. The final cost depends on various factors including the total number of participants, the location of the workshop, and whether you want to take home individual canvases or work on a large temporary wall. We offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees, and the best part is you only pay after the workshop is completed!

Can you host the workshop at our own location?

We are very flexible! We can bring the workshop to your school, office, or community centre in Sarpsborg using our mobile 'plastic walls' (industrial stretch wrap). Alternatively, we can help arrange a session at a legal graffiti wall in the area. We bring all the necessary equipment, including paint, caps, and safety gear, so you just need to provide the space and the enthusiastic participants.

The experience

Why choose our anti-vandalism program in Sarpsborg? We don't just paint walls; we change perspectives. Our workshops are designed to channel energy into something constructive and visually stunning. 🔥

Education First: We teach the legalities and ethics of street art, reducing illegal tagging by providing a legitimate alternative.
Skill Building: Participants learn advanced techniques, from 3D lettering to complex colour theory.
Community Pride: Collaborative murals foster a sense of ownership and respect for the local environment.
Expert Mentors: Our artists are active professionals who provide authentic insights into the street art scene.
Zero Risk: With our "pay after the workshop" policy and backup artists on standby, your event is guaranteed to happen and succeed.

Step by step

Introduction & Ethics: We start with a punchy discussion on the difference between graffiti as art and vandalism as damage.
Safety Briefing: Everyone gets geared up with masks, gloves, and suits while learning how to use the equipment safely.
Can Control: Practice basic lines, dots, and fades to understand how various spray caps change the output.
Sketching: Participants grab markers to sketch their ideas, focusing on letters and 'flow' before touching the wall.
Filling & Fading: Learn the 'fill-in' technique, creating smooth colour gradients and vibrant backgrounds.
Outlining: This is where the magic happens! We add sharp outlines to make the artwork pop and look professional.
Highlights & Details: Add those final 'cutting' effects and white highlights that give street art its 3D look.
Group Review: We step back to admire the collective work and discuss the positive impact of legal street art.
Cleanup & Wrap-up: We ensure the site is spotless, leaving only the memory of a great experience behind.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Sarpsborg is a city where history meets modern industry, and its urban landscape provides the perfect backdrop for a street art revolution. From the rushing waters of Sarpsfossen to the industrial heritage of the Borregaard area, there is a grit and character here that begs for creative expression. We love working in Sarpsborg because the community understands the value of tradition and the need for modern innovation. By introducing legal graffiti projects near the city centre or in local boroughs like Tune and Skjeberg, we help bridge the gap between old-school heritage and contemporary youth culture. 🏰 ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Sarpsborg was founded by Saint Olaf in 1016? While the Vikings didn't have spray cans, they were original masters of 'carving' their marks on the world—we’re just continuing that legacy with a slightly more colourful medium!

Pricing

Our workshop prices are as vibrant and varied as the art we create! For a session in Sarpsborg, you can expect the following:

Price Range: kr300 - kr650 per person (approximate).
Value: This includes all materials, safety equipment, and expert tuition from a pro artist.
Flexible Scaling: Larger groups enjoy significant discounts per head!

Because every project is unique—from school yards to corporate car parks—we recommend getting in touch for a tailored estimate. ✨
