Can you paint on surfaces other than a canvas?

Absolutely! While we love creating on our own custom surfaces, we can also perform live painting on vehicles, shop shutters, or temporary structures. If you have a specific object in Sarpsborg that needs a makeover, just let us know. We’ll ensure the right primer and paint types are used for a professional and long-lasting finish that looks incredible.

How long does a live painting session usually take?

Our live painting performances in Sarpsborg usually last between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the scale of the artwork and your event's schedule. We can speed things up for a high-energy 'speed-painting' vibe or slow it down to provide a steady flow of entertainment throughout an entire evening gala or festival afternoon. We work around your timeline!

Is it safe to have live spray painting indoors?

Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities. Our artists use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and drop cloths to protect the flooring. If your event is indoors in Sarpsborg, we ensure proper ventilation is discussed beforehand. We also offer acrylic marker 'live drawing' for smaller indoor spaces where spray paint might not be suitable, so you get the art without the fumes.

Can we choose the theme or colours for the artwork?

Definitely! In fact, most of our clients in Sarpsborg love to provide a theme, a colour palette, or a specific logo to be integrated into the piece. Our artists are incredible at blending their unique street art style with your brand's identity or the event's vibe. We’ll chat with you beforehand to make sure the final masterpiece is exactly what you envisioned.

What happens to the artwork after the event?

The best part is that the art is yours to keep! After the final spray stroke is laid down, the canvas (or panels) belongs to you. Many Sarpsborg companies hang the finished piece in their office lobby as a permanent memory of the event. If the paint is still a bit tacky, we can arrange for it to be transported safely after it dries.

Do we need to provide any materials for the artist?

We are fully self-sufficient. We bring the paint, the boards, and the protective gear. All we usually need from you is a dedicated space (roughly 3x3 metres) and reasonable lighting. If the event is in a particularly dark venue in Sarpsborg, let us know, and we can bring our own work lights to ensure the artist can see every detail.

How do I book a live painter for my Sarpsborg event?

Booking is easy! Since every event in Sarpsborg is unique, we recommend using our online cost calculator or sending us a quick message with your date and venue. We don't require upfront payments, and we have a team of backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a cancellation ruining your big day. Let's get the plan started!

The experience

Why choose a live painting performance for your Sarpsborg event? It’s more than just art; it’s a living, breathing spectacle that engages every guest. Unlike a stationary decoration, live art grows with the evening, providing a constant source of entertainment and conversation. 🏆

Instant atmosphere: The sound of the cans and the smell of creativity immediately tell your guests they are at a special event. 🔊
Social media magnet: Guests love filming time-lapses and taking "work-in-progress" selfies, giving your event massive organic reach. 📸
Customised for you: We can incorporate your company logo, event hashtags, or specific theme colours directly into the piece.
Professional edge: With years of experience across Europe, our artists are reliable, punctual, and experts at engaging a crowd.
A permanent souvenir: At the end of the night, you own a piece of unique Sarpsborg street art to hang in your office or home. 🖼️
Risk-free booking: With backup artists and no upfront payment, your event entertainment is in safe hands.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out and tell us about your event in Sarpsborg. We’ll discuss the vibe, the venue, and what you’re hoping to achieve with a live art performance. 🎨
Design concept: Our artists will brainstorm a sketch or concept based on your brand colours, event theme, or specific ideas to ensure it hits the mark.
On-site setup: On the day, we arrive early to set up our "creative zone," including floor protection, canvases, and our professional spray kit.
The performance begins: As your guests arrive, our artist starts the first layers. This "blank canvas" stage always sparks curiosity and gets people talking! 🎤
Layering and detail: Throughout the event, the piece evolves. Guests can watch as shapes become characters or logos, seeing the technical skill of graffiti art up close.
Interactive moments: If you like, our artist can chat with guests, explaining the techniques and the inspiration behind the piece as it grows.
The grand reveal: In the final hour, the finishing touches are added. This is the perfect moment for photos and a "big reveal" for the crowd. ✨
Post-event care: Once finished, the artwork is dried and prepared for you to take home or display in your Sarpsborg office or venue.

Good to know

Local culture

Sarpsborg is a city that breathes history, from its Viking roots to its industrial heritage. But today, the local scene is embracing a modern, urban edge. We love performing in the heart of Østfold, where the mix of traditional architecture and contemporary culture provides the perfect backdrop for live painting. Whether your event is near the stunning Sarpsfossen waterfall or in a sleek modern venue downtown, our street art brings a fresh, colourful contrast to the city's sturdy charm. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Did you know Sarpsborg is one of Norway's oldest cities, founded in 1016? While the city is over a thousand years old, our graffiti style is strictly 21st century, bringing a youthful boost to the local event scene! 🇳🇴

In a city known for its "blue and white" sports spirit, we often find ourselves incorporating local pride into our live art. From Oslo to Bergen, we’ve seen how art connects communities, and Sarpsborg is no different—the "Sarpinger" crowd always knows how to appreciate a good show! 🔥
