Do I need to have any artistic talent or experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Sarpsborg workshops are designed for everyone, from people who can't even draw a stick figure to seasoned hobbyists. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and moving up to 'fill-ins' and 'fading' techniques. You'll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the skills and how professional your final piece looks by the end of the session. It's all about having a go and enjoying the process!

Is the workshop safe, and what about the fumes?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. The spray paint we use is compliant with safety standards, and because we host these sessions outdoors in open Sarpsborg spaces, there is plenty of ventilation. Our experienced instructors will also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun and worry-free experience for your entire group.

What should we wear to an outdoor graffiti party?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case! While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy when you're caught up in the creative flow. Since these are outdoor parties, please check the Norwegian weather forecast and dress in layers if it looks like a chilly Sarpsborg afternoon. Stable, closed-toe shoes are always a smart choice for outdoor terrain.

How long does the graffiti experience usually last?

A standard outdoor party workshop usually lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, a demonstration of techniques, plenty of practice time, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or want a more intensive 3-hour session, we can certainly accommodate that. We're flexible and want to make sure the timing fits perfectly with your Sarpsborg event plans.

Do I need to pay upfront when I book?

Not at all! One of the best things about booking with Graffitifun is our 'pay afterwards' policy. We want you to feel completely confident in your booking. You can secure your date and time with us today, and the payment is only settled once the workshop is complete. This takes the stress out of the planning process and ensures you are 100% satisfied with the creative explosion we bring to your party.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor party?

We've got you covered! While street art is traditionally an outdoor activity, we always have backup plans. Depending on the severity of the weather in Sarpsborg, we can often set up under large gazebos or, if you prefer, we can discuss moving the session to a suitable indoor or sheltered location nearby. Our goal is to ensure your party happens no matter what the Norwegian clouds decide to do!

Can we choose the style or theme of the graffiti we create?

While our primary focus for these outdoor parties is on creating a large-scale collaborative mural or individual canvases, we can certainly tailor the theme to your group. Whether you want to focus on 'throw-ups,' 'wildstyle' lettering, or even simple stencilling, just let us know. We love hearing your ideas and will do our best to incorporate specific colours or themes that match your Sarpsborg celebration.

Local culture

Sarpsborg is a city with a rich industrial history, but lately, it's finding its modern voice through creative expression. While many people know it for the roaring Sarpsfossen waterfall, the urban scene is quietly growing. Hosting your graffiti party here means tapping into that local energy. We love setting up in open spaces where the mix of historical architecture and modern vibes provides the perfect backdrop for your bright, bold tags. 🌿

Fun Fact: Did you know Sarpsborg is one of Norway's oldest cities, founded way back in 1016? Bringing the ultra-modern art of graffiti to a city with over a thousand years of history creates an amazing contrast that makes your photos look incredible! 📸

Pricing

Our graffiti workshops are surprisingly affordable, with prices ranging from kr300 to kr650 per person. These rates vary based on your group size, the duration of the session, and the specific materials requested.
