Is the graffiti workshop in Sarpsborg legal?

While we love the heritage of the city, we strictly use designated legal walls or mobile professional canvas setups for our workshops. Professionalism is at our core, and we teach participants the difference between artistic expression and vandalism. By using legal spaces, we ensure a safe environment where creativity can flourish without legal concerns, making it a positive contribution to the Sarpsborg youth scene.

What safety measures do you take during youth projects?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 masks to protect against fumes, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep clothes clean. Our instructors are professional artists who supervise every spray. We also use premium, low-pressure spray cans which are much easier for beginners to control, ensuring a fun and hazard-free experience for all participants.

Do the participants need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! No prior artistic experience is required. Our workshops are designed to take beginners from 'zero to hero.' We start with the absolute basics of can control and line work before moving onto more complex designs. You'll be amazed at the high-quality mural the group can produce by the end of the session with our expert guidance.

How long does a typical youth graffiti workshop last?

Typical sessions for youth projects last between 2 to 3 hours. This provides enough time for a thorough introduction, technique practice, and the completion of a final large-scale group project. If you have specific scheduling needs for a community event or youth club, we can often adjust the timing to fit your itinerary.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We bring everything! The price includes professional spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the surface we paint on (whether that's a temporary wall or canvas). All you need to bring is your energy, some old shoes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on, and your creative ideas!

Can you host the workshop at our specific youth centre?

We are very flexible when it comes to location! We can host the workshop at a legal street art wall in Sarpsborg, or we can come to your youth club, sports hall, or community centre. If we paint indoors or at your location, we use special floor protection and mobile wooden panels to ensure the site remains clean and undamaged.

Do we need to pay in advance for the workshop?

We believe in our service so much that we don't require any payment upfront. You can book your date and confirm the details, and then you pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. This gives you total peace of mind and ensures we are 100% committed to delivering an amazing experience for the kids.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative? It's more than just paint on a wall—it's a massive boost for teamwork and self-esteem. Here’s why it works:

🚀 Ultimate Self-Expression: Gives young people a voice and a visual outlet for their ideas.
🤝 Teamwork Redefined: Creating a large mural requires communication, planning, and supporting each other.
✅ Zero Risk, High Reward: No upfront payments and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
🏆 Professional Guidance: Learn from real street artists who live and breathe the culture.
🛡️ Safety First: We provide full protective gear and use the safest professional equipment.
🌍 Community Pride: Turn a grey corner of Sarpsborg into a vibrant landmark the kids can be proud of!

Step by step

Initial Consultation: Reach out and tell us about your youth group in Sarpsborg. We'll discuss goals, group size, and your preferred location.
Design Brainstorming: We help the youth brainstorm a theme. Whether it's local Sarpsborg pride or a specific social message, the concept starts with them.
Safety Briefing: On the day, we start with a vital safety induction, showing everyone how to use the gear and masks correctly. ✨
Mastering the Can: Our pro artists demonstrate 'can control'—teaching how distance, speed, and pressure change the lines on the wall.
Sketching the Mural: Participants help outline the grand design on the wall using light colours, learning about scale and perspective.
Filling and Fading: This is the fun part! Everyone grabs a can to fill in the colours and learn 'blending' techniques for that pro look. 🔥
The Outline & Detail: Our artists help the group add sharp outlines and highlights to make the artwork pop and look truly professional.
Group Photos & Clean Up: We celebrate the finished masterpiece with a group photoshoot before packing up all materials and leaving the site tidy.

Local culture

Sarpsborg is a city with a deep sense of history, but it's also a place that’s constantly evolving. We love bringing our workshops here because the contrast between the ancient Viking roots and modern urban expression is so inspiring. Our youth projects often take inspiration from the Sarpsfossen waterfall or the local Sparta pride, turning local identity into vibrant street art. 🎨

Fun Fact: Sarpsborg was founded by Saint Olaf in 1016, making it one of Norway's oldest cities. We think there’s something poetic about using the world’s most modern art form—graffiti—to celebrate a city with over a thousand years of stories!

Our graffiti youth projects are priced to be accessible for community groups and organisations. We believe every young person should have the chance to be creative!
