How long does a typical youth graffiti workshop last?

Most youth projects in Sandnes run for approximately 2 to 3 hours. This duration is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high while allowing enough time to learn techniques and finish a complete piece. We can adjust the timing to fit into your specific youth club schedule or event programme if needed. Every session includes a briefing and a hands-on painting phase.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professional artists who are experienced in managing groups of young people, ensuring everyone follows safety protocols while having a blast. We use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier for beginners to control and handle safely.

Do the participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold a can, how to control the spray, and how to build a letter. Our artists provide step-by-step guidance so that by the end of the session, even those who thought they weren't 'artistic' will have created something they are genuinely proud of. It's all about the process!

Where in Sandnes do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops at our own designated street art spots, or we can come to your location in Sandnes. If you have a youth centre, a school playground, or a community hall with a suitable outdoor space, we can set up our mobile plastic walls. This makes it incredibly easy to bring the street art experience directly to the youth in their own neighbourhood.

What materials are included in the youth project?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the surfaces to paint on. We also bring caps (nozzles) for different line thicknesses. You just need to make sure the participants wear old shoes and clothes they don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case! We handle the setup and the cleanup.

Do we have to pay in advance?

No, you don't need to pay anything upfront. We believe in the quality of our workshops and want you to feel confident in booking with us. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. This makes it much easier for youth organisations and NGOs to manage their budgets and administration without the stress of immediate deposits or pre-payments.

Can we create a group mural instead of individual pieces?

Definitely. Many of our youth projects in Sandnes focus on creating a large, collaborative mural. This is a fantastic way to teach teamwork and communication. The group works together on a central theme or message, and our artists help tie all the individual styles together into one professional-looking piece of street art. It’s a great way to brighten up a local community space or youth club wall.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative? It’s not just about painting; it’s about confidence, collaboration, and having a seriously good time. Here is why we are the top choice for Sandnes:

Authentic experience: Learn from real street artists who live and breathe the culture — no dry 'art teacher' lectures here! 🎤
Total inclusivity: Graffiti is a great equaliser; you don't need a history of 'good grades' to be brilliant at it.
Safety first: We provide top-tier protective gear, ensuring the only thing that gets messy is the canvas. 🛡️
Zero risk booking: With no upfront payment and backup artists always ready, your event is in safe hands.
Custom themes: We can tailer the workshop to address specific social themes, local history, or school curriculum goals. 🏆
Instant results: Unlike other art forms, spray paint dries fast, allowing kids to see their progress immediately.

Step by step

Initial spark: Reach out to us with your ideas for the youth project in Sandnes. We’ll discuss the group size, goals, and location.
Design phase: We brainstorm themes. Whether it’s 'community', 'future', or just 'pure creativity', we help the youth find their voice.
The arrival: Our professional artists arrive at the Sandnes venue with all the gear. We set up the 'canvas'—either a wall or our mobile boards.
Safety first: We suit everyone up in protective gear and give a clear briefing on how to use the equipment responsibly.
Skill building: The youth learn 'can control'—practising lines, dots, and fades to get a feel for the medium.
Sketching it out: We move from practice to the main piece, outlining the design and choosing the colour palette.
Filling and detailing: This is where the magic happens! Participants fill in their work and add those sharp details and highlights.
The final reveal: We step back, admire the collective masterpiece, and take plenty of photos for the gram!
Clean up: We pack up everything, leaving the site tidy and the participants inspired.

Our Sandnes youth workshops are designed to be hassle-free and professionally managed. Here is what you can expect:

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Sandnes is a city that is rapidly evolving, bridging the gap between its historic pottery roots and a fresh, modern urban identity. We love working here because the industrial backdrop of the Jæren region provides the perfect 'canvas' for street art culture. The city's proximity to Stavanger—a world-renowned hub for street art—means the local youth are already inspired by world-class murals just a short train ride away. Our workshops bring that same international energy right to the heart of Sandnes. ✨

Fun fact: Did you know Sandnes is often called Norway's 'Bicycle City'? Much like cycling, graffiti is all about movement and finding your own path through the urban landscape! 🚲

We often host projects near the vibrant Ruten park area or in collaboration with local youth centres, ensuring that the art created reflects the unique spirit of the young people living in the 04 area code and beyond. Let's add some more colour to the Rogaland coast together!

Pricing

We believe great art experiences should be accessible. Our pricing is transparent and flexible to suit different budget requirements for youth organisations in Norway.

Price range: kr300 - kr650 per person
No hidden fees: All materials and safety gear are included in the price.
Post-payment: No upfront deposit needed—pay after the workshop!

Prices vary depending on the number of participants, the duration of the project, and whether we are painting on canvases or a permanent wall. 🔥
