What should I wear to my VIP graffiti session?

While we suggest wearing clothes you don't mind getting a stray speck of paint on, we provide full protective gear including high-quality overalls, gloves, and masks. The VIP experience includes premium safety equipment so you can focus entirely on your masterpiece without worrying about your wardrobe. It's all about keeping you comfy while you unleash that inner Christchurch street artist!

Do I need to be artistic or have painted before?

Absolutely no experience is required! Our professional artists specialize in taking beginners from 'zero to hero' in a single session. Whether you're a seasoned creative or someone who hasn't picked up a pen in years, we'll guide you through every spray, flick, and fade. You'll be amazed at the high-quality piece you'll produce with our expert 1-on-1 coaching.

How long does the VIP workshop last?

Our VIP workshops in Christchurch typically run for about 2 to 3 hours. This gives us plenty of time for the initial design phase, technique practice, and the final execution of your large-scale mural. We move at your pace—this is a luxury experience, so we never rush the creative process. Quality takes time, and we ensure you get plenty of it.

What is the maximum group size for a VIP experience?

The VIP experience is designed for flexibility. Whether you want a private solo session to master the craft or a high-end group outing for up to 20 people, we can accommodate you. For larger corporate groups or brand activations, we can scale up further. Just let us know your numbers and we'll tailor the Christchurch studio setup just for you.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the workshop?

We believe in a 'fun first' policy! If you aren't stoked with the experience, we'll do everything we can to make it right. Our professional artists are dedicated to ensuring you have a blast and walk away with a piece of art you're proud of. Since you pay after the workshop, we are highly motivated to exceed your expectations!

What exactly is included in the VIP package?

The VIP package includes everything: a private professional artist-mentor, premium spray paints in a massive range of colours, professional-grade masks and gloves, high-quality canvases or wall space, and even some light refreshments. You just need to bring your enthusiasm; we handle all the logistics, setup, and messy cleanup afterwards. It truly is the 'all-inclusive' of the street art world.

Can we book a workshop during the winter months?

Yes! Our VIP workshops are available year-round in Christchurch. We have access to fantastic indoor locations and covered outdoor spots that keep us dry if the Canterbury weather decides to turn. Don't let a bit of rain stop your creative flow—we’ve got the perfect sheltered spaces to keep the paint sticking and the vibes high regardless of the season.

1-on-1 Mentor Vibes: You get dedicated time with a pro artist who lives and breathes street art. No crowded classes—just you and the paint.
Premium Top-Shelf Gear: We use the best low-pressure cans for detail and high-pressure cans for speed, just like the pros use on multi-story murals.

Zero Stress Logistics: We handle the setup, the cleanup, and even the photography. You just show up and look like a legend.

Satisfaction Guaranteed: We’re so confident you’ll love it that you don’t pay a cent until the workshop is done and you’re smiling. 💪

Step by step

The royal welcome: Arrive at our Christchurch creative hub where you'll meet your private artist-mentor and get a run-down of the day.
Gear up in style: Suit up in premium protective overalls and masks. We ensure you're comfortable and safe before the first cap is popped.
Concept & sketching: Grab a coffee and sit down with your artist to sketch out your vision. From wildstyle lettering to modern Christchurch-inspired icons, we plan it all.
Can control basics: Learn the secret techniques of the pros—mastering distance, pressure, and angle to get the perfect line every time.
Background & filling: Start your mural by laying down vibrant background gradients and filling in your main shapes with premium high-pressure paint.
The outline: This is where the magic happens! Your mentor guides your hand to create those crisp, sharp outlines that make graffiti pop.
Highlights & 3D effects: Add depth to your work with professional 3D shading and 'shiny' highlights that bring the piece to life.
The final reveal: Step back, remove the mask, and admire your massive street art masterpiece. It’s the perfect time for a photo op with your crew!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Christchurch has reinvented itself as the street art capital of New Zealand, and there’s no better place to get your hands messy. Since the earthquakes, the city has become a massive open-air gallery, with towering murals by world-renowned artists like Askew One and ROA lighting up the blank walls of the 03. Our VIP experience taps directly into this local energy, using the same high-end materials you'd see being used on a massive CBD mural commission. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Did you know Christchurch hosts "Rise," the most visited street art exhibition in New Zealand's history? The spirit of creativity is in the very soil here!

We don't just teach you to paint; we connect you with the local Christchurch aesthetic—mixing that classic Southern grit with modern, colorful innovation. Whether we're painting near the quirky Cashel St spots or in our private Cantabrian workshops, the vibe is 100% authentic. 🔥
