Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! We use masks and gloves for all the kids. Safety is our main priority while we're having a blast. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the little ones, ensuring they use the cans correctly. Plus, the outdoor or well-ventilated settings in Dundalk mean everyone stays safe while getting creative with the spray paint.

How long does a typical birthday workshop last?

Expect about 1.5 to 2 hours of pure creative energy. We start with a quick intro and sketch session, move into the spray painting, and finish with a 'masterpiece reveal' and photo op. It's the perfect length of time to keep the kids engaged and excited from start to finish without any mid-party lulls!

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

We usually recommend our workshops for kids aged 8 and up. This is because they need a bit of hand strength to press the spray nozzles and the focus to follow the artist's guidance. However, we can often adapt for slightly younger groups with extra help—just reach out to us to chat about your specific group!

Do we need to bring our own supplies?

We provide everything! This includes premium spray paint in a rainbow of colours, protective masks, gloves, and the boards or canvases they'll be painting on. You just need to provide the location (or we can help find one) and some old clothes for the kids to wear—things they don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' stains on!

What happens if it rains on the day?

Don't worry, we have backup plans! If the Irish weather decides to get typical, we can move the party to an indoor location with proper ventilation or a sheltered outdoor area. We also have a team of backup artists ready to go, so your Dundalk birthday party will never be cancelled due to staff illness.

Can the kids take their artwork home?

Of course! Every child gets to take home their own individual piece of art created during the session. It’s the ultimate party bag alternative—a custom, hand-painted souvenir of the best birthday ever. They can hang it in their bedroom and show off their new urban art skills to everyone who visits!

Do I need to pay a deposit in advance?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'No Stress' booking policy. You don't have to pay a cent upfront. We trust our Dundalk families! You simply pay the full amount after the workshop is finished and you're 100% happy with the experience. It makes the planning process completely risk-free for parents.

Local culture

Dundalk has a fantastic heart for creativity, from its legendary music scene to the growing appreciation for public art around the town center. We love bringing our workshops to 'The Town', where the local kids always bring a massive amount of energy and unique Irish spark to their designs. Whether we are setting up near the Marshes or in a backyard in Blackrock, the Louth spirit always shines through in the vibrant colours the kids choose.

Fun Fact: Did you know Dundalk is famous for its creative history? While it's known for its industrial heritage, the local street art scene is picking up pace, inspired by the murals found throughout the Wee County! 🇮🇪
