Do the young people need to have previous art experience?

Absolutely! No prior artistic skills are needed for our youth projects. Our professional street artists specialize in teaching beginners. We start with the basics of can control and safety before moving on to design. By the end of the session, even those who thought they couldn't draw a stick figure will have contributed to a vibrant, professional-looking piece of street art. It is all about the process and having a laugh!

Is the workshop safe for teenagers?

Safety is our top priority for every Dundalk session. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks, gloves, and overalls. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and safer for beginners. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, and we ensure the workshop space is well-ventilated and secure throughout the entire creative process.

Where in Dundalk do these workshops take place?

We are extremely flexible! We can bring the workshop to your community centre, youth club, or school grounds in Dundalk. If you don't have a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area, we can help source a local venue. We provide heavy-duty floor protection and temporary wooden walls or canvases, ensuring we leave the site exactly as we found it.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard youth project workshop usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction to graffiti history, safety training, sketching designs, and the final painting phase. For larger community mural projects, we can expand the program over several days to allow for deeper skill development and a more detailed final result. We tailor the duration to fit your specific schedule.

Can you accommodate large youth groups or entire classes?

We thrive on large groups! We have a deep roster of professional artists and backup staff to ensure we can handle groups of almost any size. For very large youth organisations, we split the participants into smaller crews, each led by an instructor. This ensures everyone gets hands-on time with the spray cans and individual guidance, maintaining a high-quality experience for every single participant.

What is included in the price of the workshop?

Our standard graffiti workshop package is all-inclusive. This means we provide all the spray paint (in a wide range of vibrant colours), protective gear, professional instructors, and the 'canvases' (whether that's boards, plastic film, or a permanent wall). There are no hidden fees. You just need to bring the energy! We even have a price calculator on our site for instant estimates.

How does street art help with team building for youth?

Graffiti is often seen as an individual pursuit, but our workshops are designed around teamwork. Participants have to communicate, plan their color schemes together, and respect each other's 'space' on the wall. Navigating a shared creative project helps build trust, improves communication, and gives the group a shared sense of pride when they see the final masterpiece they created as a collective 'crew'.
