How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

Most graffiti birthday parties in Enugu last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This gives the children enough time to learn the basic strokes, practice their 'tagging' on cardboard or practice walls, and then complete their final masterpiece. We make sure the energy stays high throughout the session so nobody gets bored, and we leave plenty of time at the end for photos and 'gram-worthy' poses!

Do the kids need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our professional street artists are experts at teaching beginners. We start with the very basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to make clean lines. Even kids who don't think they are 'artistic' end up creating something they are incredibly proud of. It’s all about having fun and expressing yourself, not about being a perfect artist from day one.

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective ponchos for all participants. We also use low-odor spray paint where possible and always ensure the workshop area is well-ventilated. Our instructors are trained to supervise the kids closely, ensuring they use the equipment correctly while having a blast. You can relax knowing your kids are in safe hands!

What should the kids wear to the graffiti party?

We recommend that the young artists wear old clothes and sneakers that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. Even though we provide protective gear like ponchos and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a messy business when the creativity starts flowing! It's better to be safe than sorry, so leave the fancy party clothes at home and come ready to get colorful.

Where in Enugu can we host the graffiti birthday party?

We can host the party at a variety of locations across Enugu. If you have a spacious backyard or a well-ventilated garage, we can come to you! Alternatively, we can help you find a suitable outdoor space or a creative studio that allows graffiti art. As long as we have a wall or can set up our mobile plastic canvases, the 'Coal City' is our playground!

What is the minimum age for participants?

Our birthday workshops are generally best suited for children aged 8 and up. This is because using spray cans requires a certain level of hand strength and coordination. However, we can adapt the session for slightly younger children using paint markers or stencils if needed. Just let us know the age range of your group, and we’ll tailor the experience to fit perfectly!

How do I book and what are the payment terms?

We’ve made it easy! You can use our online Cost Calculator to get an instant estimate, or just send us a message with your expected guest count and date. We don't require any upfront payment to secure your booking; you pay after the workshop is successfully completed. With our backup artist guarantee, you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. Let’s get the party started!

Local culture

Enugu, the legendary 'Coal City,' has always been a hub of culture and creativity in Nigeria. From the rolling hills of Ngwo to the bustling streets of Independence Layout, art is in our DNA. While we honor our traditions, the youth in Enugu are looking for fresh ways to express themselves, and what better way than through the modern medium of street art? 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Enugu actually means "Hill Top" in the Igbo language? Just like the city's elevation, we aim to take your child's creativity to new heights! Our workshops celebrate this local spirit of innovation, encouraging kids to bring that '042' energy into every spray and stroke they make on the canvas.
