Do we need to have any artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely no prior art experience is needed! Our Enugu workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our pro artists will guide your team through everything from holding the spray can correctly to advanced layering techniques. It's actually more fun when people start from scratch because you see the most growth and surprise talent emerge within the group by the end of the day.

Is the graffiti workshop safe and clean?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep everyone clean and safe. Our spray paints are professional-grade, and we always conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor or large indoor spaces. Our facilitators give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free environment for your 'Coal City' crew.

How long does a typical team workshop last?

A standard team development session in Enugu typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory briefing, technique practice, the collaborative mural creation, and a final 'reveal' and photo session. We can also customize the duration to fit into a half-day retreat or a quick energizer session depending on your corporate schedule and team goals.

Where in Enugu do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at a partner creative space in Enugu, or we can bring the entire 'Graffitifun' experience directly to your office premises or a hotel garden if there is suitable space. As long as we have a well-ventilated area and permission to set up our mobile graffiti walls, we can make the magic happen almost anywhere.

How does the payment process work?

The best part about our 'Coal City' sessions is that you don't pay a kobo upfront! We believe in the quality of our service, so you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed and your team is buzzing with energy. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any financial commitment is finalized. We accept various local payment methods for your convenience.

What happens if it rains on the day of our event?

Rain won't stop the vibe! If you've booked an outdoor session and the Enugu clouds decide to open up, we have several options. We can move the activity to a covered or indoor area using our low-odor paints, or we can reschedule the event to a better time at no extra cost. We always have a backup artist and a plan B ready to go.

Can we keep the art we create?

Yes, definitely! While the large mural is a team effort, we often include a segment where participants can spray their own individual canvases or boards. This gives everyone a personal memento of the Enugu team-building day to take home or hang in their workspace. It’s a great way to remember the day you all became street artists.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team outing in Enugu? Because traditional team building is often forgettable, but street art is an experience your employees will talk about for years. It levels the playing field, where the intern and the CEO are both facing the same blank wall with a can in hand. 🔥

Break the Hierarchy: Creative expression ignores job titles, allowing for authentic human connection.
Encourage Risk-Taking: Graffiti is about bold moves; it teaches your team to try new things without fear.
Visual Problem-Solving: Designing a mural requires real-time collaboration and strategic thinking.
Instant Morale Boost: There is nothing like the satisfaction of seeing a massive, colorful artwork created by your own hands. ✨
Zero Stress Booking: With our "pay after the workshop" policy and backup artists, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

Arrival and vibe check: We meet at your chosen Enugu location. Our pro artists set the mood with some background tunes and a quick intro to the world of street art.
Safety and gear up: Everyone gets their protective suits, masks, and gloves. We show you how to handle the cans safely while staying fresh.
Can control basics: Learn the 'Coal City' spray techniques—from making thin lines and dots to achieving smooth color gradients and fills.
The tag challenge: Every team member creates their own 'street name' and practices their signature on a practice wall to get the creative juices flowing.
Brainstorming the mural: The team works together to sketch a concept that represents your corporate values or a specific project goal.
Outline and filling: Under the guidance of our artists, the team starts blocking out the giant mural, collaborating on who handles which section.
Details and highlights: This is where the magic happens! We add the sharp outlines, 'shines', and 3D effects that make the artwork pop.
The grand reveal: Step back and admire the collective masterpiece. It’s a powerful moment seeing what the team achieved together.
Feedback and cleanup: We wrap up with a quick debrief on how the teamwork went, snap some epic group photos, and handle all the cleanup.

Local culture

Enugu, the legendary 'Coal City', has always been a hub of industry and education. But beyond the hills and the heritage, there is a pulse of modern creativity growing in neighborhoods like New Haven and Achara Layout. Our workshops tap into this unique Enugu energy, blending the city's hardworking spirit with the rebellious freedom of graffiti art. We love incorporating local motifs—like the rolling Udi Hills or the iconic coal miners' legacy—into our murals.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the name 'Enugu' comes from the Igbo words 'Enu Gwu', meaning 'top of the hill'? We aim to take your team's morale right to that peak during our sessions! ⛰️
