Is the graffiti workshop safe for university students?

Yes, safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks and gloves, to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. Our professional artists are also there to supervise the entire session, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly. We choose well-ventilated outdoor spots or suitable indoor spaces across Enugu to make sure the environment is perfect for a creative session without any health risks.

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners who have never touched a spray can to those who have a bit of an artistic flair. Our instructors will teach you everything from the basic 'tagging' and 'can control' to more advanced shading and highlighting techniques. By the end of the session, you’ll be amazed at the masterpiece you’ve created, even if you thought you weren't 'artistic' at the start!

How much does a university graffiti workshop in Enugu cost?

Pricing usually ranges between ₦15000 and ₦35000 per person. However, the exact cost depends on your group size, the duration of the workshop, and the specific materials you want to use (like individual canvases or a giant shared mural). We are very flexible with student union budgets and offer different packages to suit your needs. Just hit us up for a custom quote and we’ll work something out!

How long does a typical session last?

A standard university workshop in Enugu typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe gives us enough time for a brief intro, a demonstration of techniques, plenty of practice time, and the final creation of your artwork. If you’re planning a larger campus-wide festival or a multi-day orientation event, we can easily adjust the schedule to fit your specific program or timetable.

What materials are provided in the workshop?

We bring everything you need! This includes a wide variety of premium spray paint colors, protective gloves, respiratory masks, and the 'canvas' (which could be a wall, large wooden panels, or individual canvases for students to take home). All you need to bring is your energy and clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on—just in case! We handle the setup and the cleanup entirely.

Can you host workshops at universities outside of Enugu?

Absolutely! We love traveling across Nigeria. While we are currently focusing on the Coal City, we also host workshops in Lagos, Kano, Ibadan, and Abuja. If your university is located outside of Enugu city limits, just let us know. We can arrange transportation for our team and materials to bring the street art vibe directly to your campus gate, wherever you are located.

Local culture

Enugu, known affectionately as the 'Coal City,' has always been a hub of culture and intellect in Eastern Nigeria. From the hills of Ngwo to the bustling streets of Independence Layout, the city breathes a unique blend of tradition and modern energy. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging students from UNEC, ESUT, and other local institutions to blend traditional Igbo aesthetics with modern street art styles.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Enugu's name comes from the Igbo words "Enu Ugwu," meaning "top of the hill"? Much like the city's geography, we aim to take your creativity to new heights! ⛰️

In our sessions, you might find yourself inspired by the red earth of the Udi Hills or the vibrant nightlife of Ogui Road. We celebrate the local "042" pride in every stroke of the spray can, making sure your art feels like home.

Pricing

We believe high-quality street art should be accessible to students. Our pricing is transparent and flexible to fit university budgets:

Standard Student Package: Starting from ₦15,000 per person.
Full Campus Experience: Up to ₦35,000 per person for premium setups and large-scale murals.

The final price depends on your specific needs, the number of participants, and the location. Best of all? You don't pay anything upfront—you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed!
