I'm not an artist; can I still participate in this training?

Absolutely no prior art experience is needed! Our Enugu workshops are designed specifically for educators who might feel intimidated by a spray can. Our expert artists break down the 'can control' basics into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the pedagogical side—how to guide your students through the process safely while encouraging their creative expression. You'll leave feeling like a pro, ready to inspire your classroom.

Is spray painting safe for a school environment?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. During the training, we'll teach you the essential safety protocols for a classroom setting, including proper ventilation, nozzle management, and storage of materials. We'll make sure you have the confidence to manage a group of students safely while they explore this vibrant medium in a school environment.

Do I get a certificate after the training?

Yes, we do! Every teacher who completes our Art Teacher Training in Enugu receives a professional certificate of completion. This document outlines the technical skills and safety modules you've mastered. It's a fantastic addition to your professional development portfolio and demonstrates your commitment to bringing innovative, modern art techniques to your school's curriculum. Plus, it looks great on any staff room wall!

What kind of spray paint do we use during the session?

While we primarily focus on professional spray cans for their quality and control, we also introduce water-based spray paints and specialized markers that are more suitable for younger students or indoor projects. Part of the training involves helping you choose the right materials based on your school's budget and physical space. We’ll show you how to get great results regardless of the specific tools you use.

How long does a typical training session last?

Our standard teacher training sessions in Enugu typically last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of street art, practice the technical foundations, and complete a collaborative mural project. If you have a specific time constraint or want a more intensive full-day masterclass for your entire department, we can definitely customize the duration to fit your schedule.

How does the payment process work?

We make it easy for Nigerian schools! You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your session. We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. Payments can be made via bank transfer or other local methods. We want the process to be as stress-free as possible for you.

Can you come to our school for the workshop?

We are fully mobile! While we have awesome locations where we can host you, our artists are happy to come directly to your school in Enugu or surrounding areas. If your school has a suitable outdoor wall or a well-ventilated space, we can conduct the training right there. This allows you to see exactly how a workshop would function in your own professional environment with your specific facilities.

Local culture

Enugu isn't just known for coal; it’s a city where tradition meets a rising modern vibe. From the majestic views at Udi Hills to the bustling streets of Ogbete Market, the city's unique landscape is the perfect canvas for urban expression. We love the energy of the local youth and the "never-say-die" spirit that defines the 042. Our workshops often draw inspiration from the rhythmic patterns of local heritage mixed with the bold, colorful strokes of international street art.
