Do I need any prior art experience?

Absolutely! Our professional artists guide you through the process step-by-step. Most of our guests in Leuven have never touched a spray can before. We start with basic spray techniques and safety before moving on to the creative stuff. You'll be amazed at the high-quality piece you can produce with just a little bit of expert coaching and the right tools.

What should I wear to the workshop?

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti is a messy business and stray mist can travel! It's best to leave your favourite designer gear at home and opt for something practical so you can focus entirely on your masterpiece without worrying about your outfit.

How long does the graffiti session last?

Most of our cultural workshops in Leuven last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a final collaborative or individual piece. We can adjust the duration depending on your event's schedule, making it shorter for festivals or longer for deep-dive creative sessions.

Is it safe to use spray paint indoors?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide professional FFP2 or FFP3 masks to filter out fumes, as well as gloves and overalls. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our instructors are trained to manage groups safely, ensuring everyone follows the correct handling procedures for the spray cans at all times.

What happens if it rains on the day?

We aren't afraid of a little Belgian drizzle! If the weather looks truly terrible, we usually have indoor backup locations or can set up tents. Because we have multiple artists across Belgium, we always have a plan B. If you have your own venue, we'll work with you to ensure a rain-safe setup so the creativity keeps flowing.

Do I need to pay upfront? 💳

No way! At Graffitifun, we believe in the quality of our service. You can book your event today and you only pay after the workshop has been completed. This keeps things stress-free for organisers and ensures we are 100% committed to giving you the best possible experience in Leuven. If you aren't happy, we aren't happy!

Where in Leuven does the workshop take place?

We can bring the workshop to almost any location in Leuven! Whether it's a park, a schoolyard, a community centre, or your own backyard, we are mobile. If you don't have a spot, we can suggest some of our favourite local street art zones. We just need a flat surface and permission to be there!

Local culture

Leuven is a city where history meets a youthful, rebellious spirit. While famous for its stunning Gothic architecture and world-class university, the city has a growing appreciation for urban art. Our workshops tap into this local energy, drawing inspiration from the creative hubs found around the Vaartkom area. We celebrate the contrast between the old brickwork of Leuven and the neon pops of high-quality spray paint. 🏰

Fun Fact: Did you know Leuven's 'Vaartkom' district was once an industrial centre and is now the city's beating heart for arts and innovation? It's the perfect backdrop for urban creativity!
