Do we need to be good at drawing or art to participate?

Absolutely! Our leadership workshops are designed for everyone, regardless of artistic talent. The focus isn't on making a masterpiece, but on the collaborative process and the leadership lessons learned along the way. Our professional artists will guide you through the technical side, ensuring you feel confident enough to express your vision. Most participants find that stepping outside their comfort zone leads to the most significant personal breakthroughs.

How long does the graffiti leadership workshop last?

A typical leadership training session in Leuven lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This includes an introduction, a brainstorming phase where leadership goals are defined, technical instruction, and the actual painting. We wrap up with a 'debrief' where the group reflects on the collaboration and the final artwork. If you have a specific schedule or want to combine it with a seminar, we can definitely adjust the timing.

Is it safe and what should we wear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and professional FFP3 masks to ensure no one inhales fumes or gets paint on their clothes. We prefer to work in well-ventilated outdoor locations or specially equipped indoor spaces. Our artists are experienced facilitators who manage the equipment professionally, ensuring a safe and productive environment for your team to experiment and grow together.

Where in Leuven do these workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at one of our partner creative spots in Leuven, or we can bring the entire setup to your office or a venue of your choice. We use mobile graffiti walls and protective floor coverings to ensure the location remains spotless. Whether it's a car park, a garden, or a bright warehouse, we'll make it work for your team's specific needs.

What is the cost of a graffiti leadership training?

The price for a leadership training session usually ranges from €25 to €55 per person. The final cost depends on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and any specific custom requirements like branded canvases or specialized catering. Because every leadership team has different goals, we recommend requesting a custom quote so we can provide a package that fits your budget and objectives perfectly.

Why is graffiti a good tool for leadership development?

Graffiti is a powerful metaphor for leadership. It requires a clear vision, the ability to pivot when things change, and seamless communication with the team. During the workshop, leaders must decide when to take charge and when to let others lead. It breaks down hierarchies and encourages 'out-of-the-box' thinking, which is essential for modern management. Plus, it's a memorable experience that beats a PowerPoint presentation any day!

What is the maximum group size for this training?

We can accommodate leadership teams of almost any size. We’ve worked with small executive boards of 5 people and larger management tiers of up to 50 or more. For larger groups, we bring in additional professional artists to ensure every participant gets personal coaching and the team dynamics remain focused. If you have a massive group, we can split into smaller 'crews' that work on a collective mural.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next leadership session in Leuven? Conventional training often stays in the head, but street art gets the whole team moving and thinking in real-time. It’s the ultimate test of collaboration and vision.

Real-time agility: Spray paint moves fast. Leaders learn to make quick, confident decisions when things don't go exactly to plan. ⚡
Visualise your values: Don't just talk about company culture—paint it! Bringing abstract goals to life creates a lasting mental anchor for the team.
Hierarchy-free zone: The spray can is a great equaliser. Watch as new leaders emerge and quiet voices find their creative 'volume'. 🎤
Confidence boost: Nothing builds executive presence like mastering a completely new, 'intimidating' medium in just a few hours. 🚀
Memorable impact: While most seminars are forgotten by Monday, the experience of creating a mural together sticks for years. 💪

Step by step

Initial briefing: We start by discussing your leadership goals. Are you focusing on communication, decisive action, or visionary thinking?
The tag creator: Use our digital tools to brainstorm concepts and 'tags' that represent your leadership philosophy before hitting the wall.
Technical masterclass: Our pro artists teach you the basics—can control, nozzle types, and layering techniques to build your confidence.
Vision mapping: Your team works on a sketch that translates abstract leadership values into a visual plan. No rushing—strategy first!
The first layer: Start the mural. This phase tests how leaders delegate tasks and manage the 'big picture' while individuals focus on details.
Navigating the 'messy middle': Mid-way through, we introduce a 'challenge' to see how the team adapts their plan under changing conditions.
Refinement and detail: Use highlights and outlines to bring the piece together, symbolising the final polish required in any major project.
Executive debrief: We stand back and evaluate the work. We discuss what the process revealed about your team's leadership styles and dynamics.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Leuven is the perfect backdrop for a creative revolution. Known for its centuries-old university and the stunning Gothic Town Hall, the city also hides a modern, edgy side. Areas like the Vaartkom have transformed from industrial zones into creative hubs, proving that evolution and vision go hand-in-hand—much like great leadership. The city's appreciation for street art is growing, with hidden murals tucked away in the narrow alleys off the Oude Markt. Bringing your leadership team here means tapping into a vibe that celebrates both tradition and radical new ideas. Fun fact: Leuven is home to one of the oldest universities in the world, making it a place where knowledge and "thinking outside the box" have been the status quo since 1425! 🎨
