Can the live painting happen indoors or is it only for outdoors?

Absolutely! We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and acrylic markers. For indoor venues in Echternach, we can also provide floor and wall protection to ensure the only thing getting painted is the canvas. We always coordinate with the venue manager beforehand to ensure safety and ventilation requirements are met for a seamless experience.

How much setup time is required before the event?

The artist usually arrives 45-60 minutes before the event starts to set up the workspace, prepare the canvases or boards, and organise the paint. This ensures that when your guests arrive in Echternach, the performance is ready to kick off immediately. We handle everything from drop cloths to final clean-up, so you don't have to worry about a thing!

Can we request specific themes or colours for the artwork?

We love it when the art reflects your event! You can choose the colour palette, specific motifs, or even have us incorporate your company logo or a special message. Our Echternach team works closely with you during the booking process to understand your vision, ensuring the final piece of street art perfectly matches your brand or party theme.

Do we get to keep the artwork after the performance?

Usually, yes! Once the paint is dry (which happens quite fast with spray paint), the artwork is yours to keep. Many of our Echternach clients choose to hang the finished canvas in their office, school, or community centre as a permanent memory of the event. We can even create the piece on multiple smaller canvases that can be distributed later.

How long does a typical live painting session last?

For a standard live painting session, we recommend a minimum of 2 hours to allow the artist to create a detailed piece. For larger festivals or full-day corporate events in Luxembourg, we can perform for up to 6-8 hours. We’ll discuss the timeline with you to ensure the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you want it to!

What happens if it rains during an outdoor event?

No way! Our professional artists thrive in all weather, though we do prefer a bit of cover if it's pouring down to protect the paint's drying process. We are experts at adapting to different environments in Echternach, whether it's a sunny summer festival or a breezy autumn gathering. We always have a backup plan ready to keep the creativity flowing.

Local culture

Echternach might be Luxembourg's oldest town, famous for its incredible hopping procession and historic architecture, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a modern, creative soul! Bringing a live painting performance to this scenic town creates a brilliant bridge between ancient history and contemporary street culture. Imagine the contrast of vibrant spray paint against the backdrop of the Sûre river or the medieval streets. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Echternach is the heart of the "Little Switzerland" region? The stunning rock formations nearby provide the perfect natural inspiration for our artists' organic shapes and textures! Whether your event is held near the Markt or closer to the lake, we bring that local Luxembourgish spirit into every spray. 🏰
