Is live painting safe for indoor events in Jimma?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odor, high-quality spray paints and professional-grade respiratory protection for the artist. If your event is indoors in Jimma, we ensure the area is well-ventilated and use drop cloths to protect the floors and furniture. We leave the space exactly as we found it—except for the beautiful new artwork, of course!

How long does a live painting performance typically last?

The timeline is flexible based on your schedule. Most live painting performances in Jimma last between 2 to 4 hours, which is perfect for a standard corporate gala or wedding reception. If you have a longer multi-day festival, we can pace the creation of a massive mural to unfold over several days to keep the momentum going.

Can we choose the theme or colors for the artwork?

Definitely! We love it when the art reflects your specific vision. Before the event, we’ll discuss your color palette, brand logos, or specific themes relevant to Jimma’s culture. Our artists then create a concept sketch for your approval, ensuring the final masterpiece aligns perfectly with your event goals and aesthetic.

Do I need to provide any materials for the artist?

Not at all! We are a full-service provider. Our team brings everything needed for a spectacular show in Jimma: premium spray cans, canvases or temporary wooden walls, protective flooring, and all safety gear. You just provide the space and the audience, and we handle the creative heavy lifting from start to finish.

What happens to the mural once the event is over?

The beauty of live painting is that there is no 'waste.' After the performance, you own the artwork! Many of our Jimma clients choose to hang the finished canvas in their office lobby, auction it off for charity, or give it away as a grand prize. It’s a lasting memory of an incredible day.

Can my guests participate in the painting process?

While our main focus is the live performance by a pro, we can certainly arrange for a 'hybrid' session where your guests can add a few strokes or tags under the artist's guidance. It’s a fantastic way to increase engagement. If you want a full hands-on experience, check out our dedicated graffiti workshops!

Local culture

Jimma is a city pulsing with history and growth, from the legendary origin of coffee in the surrounding biosphere to the bustling energy of the city center. This spirit of discovery makes it the perfect backdrop for live painting. We love taking inspiration from the lush greenery of the Oromia region and the classic architecture of the Aba Jifar Palace to infuse local soul into our modern graffiti style. The youth culture here is booming, and bringing street art to the streets of Jimma feels like a natural evolution of the city's artistic heritage.

Fun Fact: Did you know Jimma is often called the "Green City" because of its incredible biodiversity? We often use vibrant greens and earthy tones in our Jimma performances to pay homage to the forests that gave the world its first coffee beans! ☕✨
