What exactly is live painting and how does it work?

Live painting is a dynamic performance where our professional artists create a large-scale piece of graffiti or street art from scratch right in front of your guests. Unlike a static mural, the 'show' is the process itself. It’s perfect for adding energy to events in Nice, as people love to watch the artwork evolve throughout the day or evening. The finished piece can even be kept by the host!

Can you do live painting indoors or is it only for outdoors?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are hosting an indoor corporate gala at a Nice hotel or an outdoor festival on the Promenade, we can make it work. For indoor events, we use low-odour, water-based spray paints or paint markers to ensure there are no fumes or mess. We provide all the necessary floor protection and backdrops, so your venue stays spotless while the art shines.

How long does a typical live painting performance last?

The duration is completely up to you and the flow of your event. Most live painting sessions in Nice last between 2 and 5 hours. We can time the 'reveal' or the completion of the piece to coincide with a specific moment, like a keynote speech or the opening of a dance floor. We’ll work with your schedule to ensure maximum impact.

Can the artist include our company logo or a specific theme?

Absolutely! While the artist leads the creative vision, we love incorporating your Brand DNA. We can integrate specific logos, colour palettes, or themes that represent your company or the reason for the celebration. This makes the final artwork a unique souvenir of the event. Just let us know your ideas during the booking process and we’ll sketch out a plan.

What is included in the price? Are there hidden costs?

Our pricing in Nice is transparent and all-inclusive. Generally, you can expect costs to range between €30 and €65 per person if it's an interactive session, or a flat performance fee for pure live painting. This covers the artist's time, high-quality professional paints, canvases or boards, protective flooring, and travel. Because every event is unique, we always recommend requesting a custom quote for the best price.

The experience

Why settle for a DJ or a standard buffet when you can have a living, breathing art installation? Live painting is the ultimate icebreaker and social media magnet. Here is why it works so well in Nice:

Instant atmosphere: The sound of the spray cans and the visual transformation create an immediate "cool" factor. ⚡
Unique branding: We can weave your company colours and logos into the art for a bespoke brand activation. 🏢
Guest interaction: Your guests aren't just spectators; they can chat with the artist and learn about the techniques.
Content gold: It’s perfect for Instagram and TikTok—everyone wants to film the art taking shape! 📸
Zero risk: With our backup artist policy and pay-after-service guarantee, your event is in safe hands.
A lasting memory: You get to keep the final artwork to hang in your office or home as a permanent souvenir. 🏆

Step by step

Initial consultation: You tell us about your event in Nice, the vibe you're going for, and any specific themes or logos you want included.
Concept sketch: Our artist creates a digital or pencil mock-up of the proposed artwork for your approval to ensure it aligns with your vision.
Site preparation: On the day, we arrive early to set up the 'stage'. We lay down professional-grade floor protection and set up our high-quality canvases or mobile walls.
The performance begins: As your guests arrive, our artist starts the first layers. This usually draws an immediate crowd as the 'rough' shapes begin to take form.
Interactive engagement: Our artists are friendly! They’ll chat with guests, explain the techniques, and maybe even let a few VIPs add a small stroke of paint.
The finishing touches: During the climax of your event, the artist adds the fine details, highlights, and outlines that make the piece pop.
The big reveal: The completed masterpiece is presented. It’s the perfect backdrop for photos and social media posts.
Pack down & handover: We clean up the area completely. The artwork is yours to keep, display in your office, or even auction off for charity!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Nice is a city where world-class art meets Mediterranean soul. While the Musee Matisse and MAMAC showcase the city's prestigious art history, the streets of Nice tell a more modern story. From the vibrant murals in the Quartier de la Libération to the hidden gems in the winding alleys of Vieux Nice, street art is part of the city's living pulse. By bringing a live painting performance to your event, you're tapping into this local creative spirit.

Fun Fact: Nice is home to some incredible 'trompe-l'œil' (trick of the eye) murals that have been part of the city's architectural tradition for centuries. Our modern graffiti live painting is the contemporary evolution of this beautiful Mediterranean storytelling! 🎨
