Can the artist paint a specific logo or theme?

Absolutely! While our artists bring their own signature style, they are professionals at incorporating your specific brand colours, logos, or even a particular theme into the live painting. We usually discuss the concept with you ahead of the event in Nyeri to ensure the finished masterpiece perfectly aligns with your vision and event aesthetic. It’s all about creating something unique for you!

Is the process messy or smelly for indoor events?

Not at all. We come fully prepared with high-quality low-odour spray paint, drop cloths, and protective screens. We take extreme care to ensure the venue stays exactly as we found it—minus the addition of a spectacular new piece of art! Whether your event is at a hotel in the city centre or an outdoor garden, we manage the setup and cleanup entirely.

How long does a live painting session usually take?

Most live painting performances in Nyeri last between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the scale of the canvas and the complexity of the design. We can pace the performance to match your event's itinerary, ensuring the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you want it to. If you have a multi-day event, we can also spread the creation over several sessions.

What happens to the artwork after the event?

That is entirely up to you! Once the paint is dry, the artwork is yours to keep. Many of our Nyeri clients choose to display the finished canvas in their office lobby, auction it off for charity, or give it away as a grand prize. It’s a lasting memento of a fantastic day that continues to inspire long after the event ends.

What kind of surfaces can you paint on?

The beauty of live painting is its flexibility. We can work on large-scale canvases, wooden panels, or even temporary walls. If you’re looking for something interactive, we can even set up smaller stations. As long as we have a flat surface and a bit of space for the artist to move, we can make the magic happen anywhere in Nyeri!

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

We understand that event planning can be stressful, which is why we’ve eliminated the need for upfront deposits. You only pay after the workshop or performance is complete and you are 100% satisfied with the result. We also have a network of backup artists ready to step in, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. Your peace of mind is our priority!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Nyeri is a city with a rich history and a growing appreciation for contemporary expression. From the bustling markets to the serenity of the nearby Aberdare Range, there is an underlying creative pulse that we love to tap into. While traditional art has deep roots here, the modern street art scene is beginning to bloom, bringing a fresh, urban energy to the Central Highlands. Our live painting performances pay homage to this local spirit, often blending modern graffiti techniques with themes that resonate with the people of Nyeri.

Fun Fact: Did you know Nyeri is the final resting place of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouts? Just as Scouting focuses on hands-on creation and community, our live painting celebrates the raw, interactive process of making something amazing together! 🎨
