Do we need any previous artistic experience to participate?

Absolutely no prior art skills are needed! Our Düsseldorf onboarding workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to undercover Picassos. Our professional artists guide your team through the basics, starting with simple lines and shapes. We focus on the joy of creating together and the energy of the group, ensuring that everyone walks away feeling like a street art pro.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need for a fantastic day! This includes premium spray cans in a huge variety of vibrant colours, high-quality caps for different effects, protective clothing (suits, gloves, and masks), and a professional surface to paint on. We also bring the music and the good vibes. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty!

How long does the graffiti onboarding session usually last?

A standard onboarding graffiti workshop in Düsseldorf typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough time for a proper introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or time limit for your team day, just let us know, and we can tailor the duration to fit your event perfectly.

Is the spray painting process safe for our employees?

Safety is our top priority! We provide all necessary protective gear, including professional-grade masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes, as well as gloves and full-body overalls. Our artists are highly experienced and provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use well-ventilated outdoor or indoor locations that meet all safety standards, ensuring a worry-free experience for your whole team.

Where in Düsseldorf do the workshops take place?

We have access to a variety of cool locations across Düsseldorf, ranging from authentic legal street art walls to private indoor spaces with proper ventilation. Depending on your group size and the weather, we can host the event at our partner sites or even bring the workshop to your own office premises if you have a suitable outdoor area. We’ll find the perfect spot for your team!

Can we customise the graffiti design to match our company branding?

Yes, we love it when teams get personal! We can incorporate your company colours, your brand logo, or specific team values into the final design. Our artists will work with you beforehand to sketch out a concept that aligns with your onboarding goals. It’s a great way to make the new hires feel a direct connection to the brand they’ve just joined.

Do we have to pay in advance for the workshop booking?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We don't require any upfront payment to secure your booking. You can settle the invoice after the workshop has been successfully completed and your team is buzzing with excitement. This makes the administrative side of things much easier for your HR or events department. We believe in the quality of our service!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your team onboarding in the fashion capital of Germany? Because nothing breaks down barriers like a shared creative challenge! Here is why it works:

Instant Icebreaker: Nothing kills first-day nerves faster than putting on a protective suit and grabbing a spray can. 🧊🔨
Visualise Culture: Don't just talk about company values—paint them! It creates a lasting visual memory for new hires. 🖼️
Total Inclusivity: Street art is for everyone. No matter the age, role, or background, everyone starts with a blank canvas. 🤝
Boost Spirit: The high-energy, "cool" factor of graffiti leaves employees feeling excited and proud of their new workplace. 🚀
Collaboration over Competition: Creating one big mural teaches the importance of working together toward a communal goal. 🏆
Worry-Free Planning: With our backup artists and no-upfront-pay policy, your event is in safe hands. 💪

Step by step

The Arrival: Your team meets our artists at the designated Düsseldorf street art spot for an energetic introduction to the day.
The Concept: We brainstorm themes together, focusing on your company values and the goals of your onboarding program.
Safety First: Everyone gets fitted with protective suits, gloves, and masks while learning the essential 'do’s and don’ts' of spray painting.
Can Control: Our pros demonstrate basic techniques—lines, dots, fades, and fills—giving everyone time to practice on their own space.
The Sketch: We outline the master design on the wall or canvases, creating the foundation for your collaborative team mural.
The Filling: The team gets to work! This is where the magic happens as you layer colours and bring the corporate vision to life with spray cans.
Outlining & Highlights: Our artists help you add the finishing touches, sharp edges, and 'high-lights' that make the artwork pop.
The Great Reveal: Step back and admire the collective work! We take professional group photos to document your team’s huge achievement.
Debrief & Wrap-up: We conclude with a fun reflection on the creative process and the team bonds built during the session.
