Do we need any previous artistic experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Leipzig onboarding workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through everything from holding the spray can correctly to mastering advanced shading techniques. We start with the basics on paper before moving to the walls, ensuring everyone feels confident and creative by the time they start painting. It’s all about having fun and trying something new together.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need for a complete street art experience in Leipzig. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and respiratory masks for safety. We also provide the canvases or wall space and all sketching materials. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty!

Is the spray paint safe to use during the session?

Safety is our top priority at Graffitifun. We provide professional-grade FFP2 or FFP3 masks to protect against fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially equipped indoor spaces. Furthermore, our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a secure environment for all participants to enjoy.

How long does a typical graffiti onboarding session last?

A standard onboarding workshop in Leipzig typically lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction to graffiti history, a sketching session, practicing can techniques, and finally creating your collective or individual masterpiece. If you have specific time constraints for your team schedule, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your itinerary perfectly.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor workshop?

Leipzig’s weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. If we are planned for an outdoor wall and it rains, we often have access to sheltered areas or indoor 'hall of fame' spaces. Alternatively, we can pivot to a canvas-based workshop in an indoor studio. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead even if there’s an unexpected scheduling conflict.

How much does the workshop cost and how do we pay?

Our pricing in Leipzig is flexible and depends on your group size and specific requirements, generally ranging from €30 to €65 per person. We believe in transparency and trust, which is why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. There are no sneaky upfront costs. The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next onboarding in Leipzig? It’s not just about the paint; it’s about building a culture from the ground up. Here is why our sessions are a hit:

Instant Team Bonding: Shared creativity breaks down hierarchies and builds genuine connections faster than any meeting room ever could. 🤝
Boost Creative Thinking: Encouraging your team to step outside their comfort zone leads to innovative thinking back at the office.
Total Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic about the hiss of a spray can and the flow of vibrant colours. 🌈
Memorable Outcomes: You won't just leave with memories; you'll have a physical piece of art that represents your team's collective spirit.
Professional Guidance: Work with Leipzig’s finest street artists who are as passionate about teaching as they are about their craft.
Zero Risk: With our 'pay later' policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is in the safest hands in the industry. 🏆

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: We kick things off with a brief history of Leipzig's street art scene and an introduction to different graffiti styles.
Concept sketching: Grab some pens and paper! You'll brainstorm ideas and sketch out your tag or team piece under the guidance of our artists.
Safety first: Suit up in your protective gear. We’ll show you how to properly wear your mask and gloves for a safe creative session.
Can control basics: Learn the 'spray-art' essentials, from nozzle pressure to different 'caps' that create thin lines or fat fills.
First lines on the wall: Time to feel the pressure! You'll start by outlining your design on the wall or canvas with light strokes.
Filling & fading: This is where the colour comes in. We’ll teach you how to fill large areas and create smooth gradients and fades.
The 'cut' and details: Use sharp contrasts to clean up your edges and add those final 'shines' that make the artwork pop.
The big reveal: Step back and admire the collective masterpiece your team has created. It's the perfect moment for a group photo!
Clean up & wrap: We handle the mess. You leave with fresh skills, great memories, and maybe even a custom canvas for the office.

Local culture

Leipzig is often called "Hypezig" for a reason—its creative energy is unmatched! The city has a deep-rooted history of urban art, particularly in districts like Plagwitz and Connewitz, where the walls tell stories of the city's transformation. From the industrial charm of the Baumwollspinnerei to the colourful murals along Karl-Heine-Straße, street art is woven into the very fabric of the city. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Leipzig is home to one of Germany's oldest 'Halls of Fame'—legal walls where graffiti culture has been thriving for decades. It's the perfect place to soak up authentic underground vibes!
