Do I need any previous graffiti experience to join the teacher training?

Absolutely no prior experience is needed! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at teaching the basics to beginners. We start with simple lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. The goal is to give you the confidence to teach these skills to your own students, regardless of your personal artistic background or current skill level with a spray can.

What safety measures are in place during the workshop?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 masks, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and produce less fumes. During the workshop, we'll teach you the specific safety protocols you need to implement when running your own sessions back at school or in your youth centre.

Are all materials included in the training price?

Yes, we provide all the necessary professional equipment. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, various nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective gear, and large surfaces to practice on. You won't need to bring anything except your enthusiasm and perhaps some clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty with paint.

Who is this professional development session designed for?

Our teacher training is highly versatile. It’s perfect for primary and secondary art teachers, youth workers, community leaders, and even corporate team builders. Anyone who wants to learn a modern, engaging way to connect with young people through art will find this professional development session incredibly valuable and inspiring for their future curriculum planning.

Where in Leipzig do the training sessions take place?

Leipzig is famous for its 'Plattenbau' culture and the creative hubs in Plagwitz. While our workshops often take place at designated legal graffiti walls (Hall of Fame) to provide an authentic experience, we can also come to your school or facility if you have a suitable outdoor space. We love incorporating the local Leipzig vibe into our sessions!

How long does the training session typically last?

A standard teacher training session lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the theoretical introduction, learning basic techniques, and completing a larger collaborative piece. We can also customise the duration if you have specific learning objectives or a larger group that requires more one-on-one coaching time with our lead artists.

How do I book and when do I need to pay?

Booking is easy and flexible! You can use our online cost calculator for an estimate or send us a request via our contact form. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is completed. We also have backup artists ready to go, ensuring your professional development day in Leipzig never gets cancelled.
