Do I need any prior drawing or painting experience?

Absolutely not! Our onboarding workshop in Slavonski Brod is designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through everything from holding the spray can correctly to mastering advanced shading techniques. By the time we finish, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. Whether you think you're 'artistic' or not, we promise you'll have a blast and learn a brand-new skill.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need to get creative! This includes high-quality spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and respiratory masks. We also provide the canvases or practice walls and all the specialized nozzles (caps) required for different effects. Just show up in clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on, and we will take care of the rest of the gear!

Is spray painting safe for everyone involved?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide professional masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes, and our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas. Our instructors give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use high-quality paints, and our gear ensures that the only thing getting 'vandalised' is the canvas you're working on. It's a controlled, safe, and fun environment for everyone.

How long does the graffiti experience actually last?

A standard onboarding workshop in Slavonski Brod usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, some skill-building exercises, and the final creation of your own street art piece. If you have a specific time constraint or want a more intensive full-day session, just let us know and we can tailor the schedule to fit your group's needs perfectly.

Do I need to pay in advance to book my spot?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'Fun First' policy. We don't require any upfront payments to secure your booking. You can book your date and time with confidence, and you only pay after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any money changes hands. It's our way of proving we are committed to your enjoyment.

What happens if it rains or an artist is unavailable?

Rain won't stop the creativity! We always have a 'plan B' for Slavonski Brod workshops. If the weather looks like it won't cooperate for an outdoor session, we can often move to a covered location or an indoor studio space. Additionally, we have backup artists available so that even if an instructor falls ill, your event will proceed exactly as planned without any last-minute cancellations.

What is the maximum group size for a workshop?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size! For small groups, the experience is intimate and focused. For larger groups, such as corporate team-building or school outings, we bring in extra artists to ensure everyone gets personal guidance. Whether you are a group of 5 or 50, we scale the equipment and instructors to make sure everyone has a high-energy, hands-on experience without waiting around.

Safety first: Get kitted out in protective gear and listen to a quick briefing on how to use the equipment safely and responsibly.
The basics of the can: Learn the 'anatomy' of a spray can, from choosing the right cap for thin lines to mastering the pressure for broad strokes.
Sketching your vision: Use chalk or light spray to outline your design on the canvas, guided by our pros who help with proportions and style.
Fill-in techniques: Start bringing your art to life by filling in the colours using smooth, consistent movements to avoid drips.
Outlining and details: Add the 'pop' to your work with sharp outlines, highlights, and 3D effects that make your graffiti jump off the wall.
The finishing touch: Sign your work with your new 'tag' and take some epic group photos with your completed masterpieces.

Local culture

Slavonski Brod is a city steeped in history, from the impressive Brod Fortress to its beautiful riverside promenades. But beneath its traditional charm lies a growing appreciation for modern urban culture. Our workshops take inspiration from the city's unique position on the Sava river, blending the grit of urban art with the relaxed pace of Slavonian life. You'll find that the local creative energy is infectious, making it the perfect backdrop for your first foray into spray painting. 🏰

Fun Fact: Did you know that Slavonski Brod is often called the "City of Tales"? While it's famous for fairy tales, we’re here to help you tell your own modern story through bold colours and tags! 📖

After your workshop, why not head over to the nearby cities to see more? We also host incredible events in Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, and Osijek!
