How long does a typical youth graffiti project last?

Our youth workshops in Slavonski Brod usually last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the participants enough time to learn the basic strokes, practice their 'tagging' style, and work together on a large-scale mural. We find this timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high and focus sharp without the youngsters getting tired. If you have a specific schedule to meet, just let us know and we can adjust accordingly!

Is it safe for young people to use spray cans?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls for every participant. Our professional artists are also trained in site safety and supervise the group closely at all times. We use low-odour spray paint where possible and always ensure we are working in a well-ventilated outdoor or indoor space. You can rest easy knowing the kids are in safe, expert hands.

Where do the workshops take place? Is it legal?

While we love the heritage of street art, we only operate on legal surfaces. In Slavonski Brod, we use mobile wooden walls, large canvases, or designated legal spray zones. This teaches the youth that art is about expression and respect for the community, not vandalism. If your project is at a youth centre, we can even create a permanent mural on one of your existing walls with the proper permissions!

Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from total beginners to budding young Rembrandts. Our artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps so that everyone feels confident. It’s more about the process of creation and teamwork than being a perfect artist from day one. We guarantee that every participant will walk away feeling proud of what they’ve achieved!

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need for a successful workshop. This includes a wide variety of professional spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear, and the 'canvas' itself. We even bring some cool background music to get the creative vibes flowing! All you need to provide is an enthusiastic group of young people and a suitable location. We handle the messy logistics so you don't have to.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

Slavonski Brod weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. If we are planned for an outdoor session and it rains, we can either move to a covered outdoor area or use an indoor space with proper ventilation. Because we have local backup artists and flexible setups, we can usually adapt to the situation quickly. We’ll always communicate with you beforehand to ensure the project goes ahead smoothly.

Boosts confidence: Seeing a massive piece of art you helped create gives a huge sense of achievement. 🏆
Promotes teamwork: You can't finish a 10-metre mural alone! Kids learn to communicate and collaborate.
Digital detox: It’s a hands-on, tactile experience that gets them away from screens and into the fresh air.
Authentic culture: Street art is the language of modern youth – we speak their language. 🎤
Safe expression: We provide a legal, constructive outlet for energy and creativity.
Professional guidance: Learn from real artists who live and breathe the street art scene.

Step by step

Initial spark: Reach out to us with your vision. Whether it's a small youth club session or a city-wide youth initiative, we'll help you define the goals of the project.
Concept design: Our artists work with you to choose a theme. This could be anything from 'local pride' to 'future dreams' or 'sustainability'.
Site prep: We arrive early in Slavonski Brod to set up the protective flooring, mobile walls, and organise the rainbow of spray cans.
Safety briefing: Before anyone touches a can, we teach the group how to use the equipment safely and respect the environment.
Masterclass demo: One of our pros shows off some cool tricks, explaining how to control pressure, distance, and line thickness.
Sketching & practicing: The youth start by practicing their 'tags' and basic shapes on individual boards to build up their confidence.
Mural creation: The big moment! The group comes together to fill in the large-scale piece, layering colours and adding those all-important outlines.
The finishing touches: Our artists help the participants add highlights and details that make the artwork pop and look truly professional.
Gallery walk: We finish with a celebration of the work, group photos, and a discussion about what everyone learned during the experience.

Local culture

Slavonski Brod is a city with a deep sense of history, from its iconic 18th-century Fortress to its bustling riverside promenades. But beneath the tradition lies a growing contemporary pulse. Our youth projects aim to bridge that gap, giving the younger generation a voice in the city's visual narrative. We love working near the Sava river, where the open spirit of the water inspires fluid and bold designs. 🌊

Fun Fact: Did you know Slavonski Brod was once a major strategic border town? Just as the city has evolved through the centuries, we believe its youth are the new 'architects' of its modern culture, using spray cans instead of bricks to build something beautiful!
