Do I need to be an artist to join the workshop?

Absolutely no experience is required! Our professional artists specialize in teaching beginners how to handle a spray can from scratch. We start with basic safety and technique before moving on to the creative stuff. Whether you think you’re the next Banksy or can barely draw a stick figure, you'll leave the Novosibirsk pop-up with a piece of art you're genuinely proud of.

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. Our spray paints are selected for their quality, and we always ensure our pop-up locations in Novosibirsk have excellent ventilation or are held in open-air spaces. Our instructors supervise the group at all times to ensure a fun, hazard-free environment.

How long does the workshop last?

The standard pop-up experience usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a thorough introduction, some practice runs on cardboard or practice walls, and then the final creation of your masterpiece. We move at a pace that keeps the energy high while ensuring everyone feels confident with their spray can skills before the final 'big reveal'.

What should I wear to the event?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on—just in case! While we provide full-body protective suits, graffiti can be a messy business when the creativity starts flowing. If you're joining us during a Novosibirsk winter, make sure to layer up as some of our pop-up venues can be quite airy.

Are materials included in the price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint in a huge variety of colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear, and the 'canvas' itself (which could be anything from a dedicated wall to a portable board). You just need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps a few ideas for what you'd like to paint. We handle the setup and the cleanup.

Can I book a session for a large group?

Yes! Our pop-up events are fantastic for groups. We can accommodate anything from small groups of friends to large corporate teams. If you have a specific group size in mind for an event in Novosibirsk, just let us know. We have a roster of backup artists to ensure that even large crowds get plenty of 1-on-1 attention and guidance throughout the session.

Unleash total creativity: Break away from the "office vibe" and express yourself in a medium with no rules.
Zero experience needed: Our pro artists guide you from your first spray to a finished masterpiece. 🎨
Memorable & unique: Forget boring bowling nights—nothing beats the thrill of a spray can in hand.
All-inclusive gear: We provide the masks, suits, and premium paint so you stay clean while getting creative.

Risk-free booking: With no upfront payment and backup artists ready, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

Intro and safety briefing: Meet your pro artist and get kitted out in your protective gear. We’ll cover the basics of spray can safety and how to use the equipment. ✨
Learning the lines: Your instructor will demonstrate how to control the pressure of the spray can. You’ll practice making thin lines, fat drips, and smooth gradients. 🔥
Sketching your concept: Use chalk or light spray to sketch your design onto the surface. Don’t worry, our artists are on hand to help you get the proportions just right!
Fill-in and flow: Start adding bold colours to your piece. This is where the magic happens and your Novosibirsk street art starts to take shape. 🎨
Outlining and details: Define your shapes with sharp outlines. This "cut-in" technique is what makes graffiti pop and look professional.
Adding the 'flare': Learn how to add highlights, shadows, and those iconic graffiti flourishes that give your work real character and depth. 🏆
The final showcase: Step back and admire the collective work! We’ll take photos of you and your masterpiece to show off your new skills.

Local culture

Novosibirsk is a city built on bold ideas and massive scales, much like the best street art. While the city is famous for its scientific prowess and the stunning Opera and Ballet Theatre, there is a growing underground appreciation for urban creativity. Our pop-up events tap into this Siberian spirit of innovation. We love bringing the colour of street art to contrast with the city’s classic Soviet-era architecture and the crisp white snow of winter. ❄️

Fun Fact: Did you know Novosibirsk is home to some incredible hidden murals, particularly around the "Art-Ploshchadka" areas? The city's youth culture is rapidly turning grey walls into canvases of expression, making it the perfect backdrop for our creative workshops. 🎤
