Do I need to be good at drawing to join the workshop?

Absolutely no prior artistic experience is needed to enjoy our Samara pop-up! Our professional artists guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering filling techniques. We specialise in making art accessible, so whether you’re a complete beginner or a closet doodler, you’ll walk away with a piece of art that looks fantastic and a huge grin on your face.

Is spray painting safe for everyone?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. Our spray paints are selected for high quality and low odour. Our facilitators are trained professionals who ensure everyone follows safety protocols, making the experience safe for participants of all ages. Just bring your enthusiasm, and we will handle the rest of the protection!

What happens if it rains during the event?

We are fully prepared for the Samara weather! For our pop-up events, we can either set up under sturdy gazebos or relocate to a pre-arranged indoor venue. Because we have a large network of local artists and flexible equipment, we ensure your event goes ahead rain or shine. If the weather looks truly impossible, we’ll work with you to find the best alternative solution.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Standard pop-up workshops usually last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives everyone enough time to learn the basics, practice their 'tag', and complete a final masterpiece. However, we can adapt the timing to fit your specific schedule. For larger public festivals, we can run shorter 'taster' sessions throughout the day to ensure as many people as possible get to spray.

What materials are included in the price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray cans in a vibrant range of colours, caps/nozzles for different effects, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the 'canvas' (which could be a wall, board, or actual canvases). We also bring the expertise and the music to keep the vibes high. You just need to show up in comfortable shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit dusty.

Where can the pop-up event take place?

We are extremely flexible with our pop-up locations in Samara. We can set up in public squares, park areas, office car parks, or even inside large industrial spaces. If you don't have a location in mind, we can suggest several tried-and-tested spots across the city that offer the perfect urban backdrop for a creative street art session. We handle all the logistical setup.

How do I book and when do I pay?

Unlike many providers, Graffitifun offers a 'pay after the workshop' policy for most bookings, ensuring you are 100% happy with the service. We don't require upfront payments to secure your date. Simply request a quote via our website, and once the details are confirmed, your Samara pop-up event is locked in. It’s a stress-free process designed to get you painting as quickly as possible.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your Samara event? It’s more than just art—it’s about breaking barriers and doing something totally unexpected. Here’s why our pop-up experiences are the talk of the town:

Unleash hidden talent: You’ll be surprised at what you can create when you’re given a spray can and the freedom to play! 🎨
Stress relief: There’s something incredibly therapeutic about the 'shhh' of a spray can and seeing big splashes of colour appear instantly. 🔥
Mobile & flexible: We bring the entire studio to you, whether you're in a park, a warehouse, or an office car park in Samara. 🚚
Perfect for everyone: From teenagers to grandparents, our workshops are designed to be inclusive, easy to learn, and high-energy. 🏆
Professional guidance: You’re learning from real artists who live and breathe street culture, not just instructors reading from a book. 🎤
Insta-worthy results: Your guests will leave with amazing photos and a piece of art they’ll actually want to show off. 📸

Safety Briefing: We kit everyone out in pro-grade masks and suits and explain how to use the equipment safely.
The Basics: You'll learn the 'can-control' fundamentals—lines, dots, and how to fade colours like a pro artist.
Free Practice: It's time to get loose! You'll have time to practice your tags and get used to the pressure of the cans.
The Masterpiece: Under our guidance, the group collaborates on a large-scale mural or individual pieces that look incredible.
Final Touches: We help you add those sharp outlines and highlights that make the artwork pop.

Local culture

Samara is a city that breathes a unique blend of history and modernity, and its street art scene is no different. From hidden gems in the old town courtyards to massive murals that celebrate the city's connection to space and the Volga river, Samara offers a gritty, inspiring backdrop for any creative project. Bringing a graffiti pop-up here feels natural—the city's industrial roots and artistic spirit make it the perfect playground for spray paint enthusiasts.

Fun Fact: Samara is home to some of Russia's most impressive large-scale murals, often featured in the 'Culture Code' festival, making the city a literal open-air gallery! 🚀

Our artists don't just teach you to paint; they connect you with the local urban culture that makes Samara so distinct. Whether you're inspired by the city's aviation heritage or its bustling riverfront, we help you translate those local vibes onto the canvas.
