Do we need prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a straight line to seasoned art students. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and line work. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It’s all about having fun, experimenting with new techniques, and expressing your unique personality through street art!

How long does a typical university graffiti workshop last?

Standard university workshops usually last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the group enough time to learn the history of graffiti, practice spray techniques on test boards, and collaborate on a final large-scale piece. If you have a specific schedule or a shorter window during a campus festival, just let us know! We can adapt the timing to fit your event perfectly.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We take care of everything. We provide premium spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and masks. We also bring the canvases or mobile graffiti walls. All you need to bring is your energy and some old clothes/shoes just in case you get a little too enthusiastic! We recommend wearing comfortable gear so you can move around freely while painting.

Is the spray paint safe to use for students?

Safety is our top priority. we use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves. Our workshops are ideally held in well-ventilated or outdoor areas. Our instructors are professional artists who are experienced in managing large groups safely, ensuring everyone has a great time without any risks to their health or the environment.

Can you host the workshop directly on our campus?

Yes, we are completely mobile! While we have awesome spots we can recommend, we are happy to bring the workshop directly to your campus in Samara. Whether it's a car park, a courtyard, or a ventilated indoor hall, we set up professional protection to ensure no paint ends up where it shouldn't. This makes it super convenient for student unions and university departments.

Is this suitable for large groups or student societies?

Definitely! Graffiti is an incredible tool for team building. We often set up 'mural challenges' where different student groups or faculties work together on a massive combined artwork. It encourages communication, division of tasks, and collective problem-solving. It’s a fantastic way to break the ice during orientation weeks or to celebrate the end of a long semester together.

How do we book and when do we pay?

Booking is easy and stress-free. First, use our online Cost Calculator to get a rough idea of the investment. Then, send us a request with your preferred date and group size. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is finished and you're 100% happy with the result. We even have backup artists ready to go!

Local culture

Samara is a city that lives and breathes through its connection to the Volga River and its rich industrial history, but there is a hidden layer of vibrant street art waiting to be explored. From the large-scale murals that have popped up during recent football championships to the underground tags in the historic courtyards near Leningradskaya Street, Samara is the perfect canvas for a budding artist.

The city's youthful energy, driven by its massive student population, makes it a prime spot for the street art scene to flourish. We take inspiration from the local aesthetics—blending Samara's "Space City" legacy with modern urban styles. Our workshops often reference the local culture, giving students a chance to paint something that truly feels at home in the heart of Russia.

Fun fact: Samara is famous for its role in the Soviet space program, and you can find space-themed street art dotted across the city, including a massive portrait of Yuri Gagarin! 🚀
