Do the children need any previous drawing skills?

Not at all! Our primary school workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our Samara-based artists break everything down into simple, manageable steps that focus on basic shapes and patterns. We celebrate every child's unique style, ensuring nobody feels left behind. It’s all about building confidence through creativity, so whether they are already little Picassos or have never held a marker, they will have a blast.

Is the spray paint safe for primary school children?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks for every pupil. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier for smaller hands to control. All sessions are supervised by experienced artists who ensure the equipment is used correctly. We recommend students wear old shoes, just in case a stray drop of paint lands where it shouldn't!

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard primary school workshop in Samara usually lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a crash course in technique, and plenty of hands-on painting time. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your specific school timetable or split the day into shorter sessions for multiple classes. We are totally flexible to your needs.

Where do the workshops take place?

We can host the workshop right at your school! We usually set up on the playground against a fence or a temporary wall. Since we’re in Samara, we always keep an eye on the weather; if it rains, we can move under a sheltered area or use indoor-safe water-based markers on canvases if planned in advance. We bring everything needed to protect your school property.

Do the kids get to keep their artwork?

Absolutely! One of the best parts of our primary school workshops is that every child gets to take home their very own piece of art. We usually work on high-quality canvases or sturdy cardboard panels. It’s a fantastic way for them to show off their new skills to their parents, and it makes for a much more memorable experience than just a digital photo.

Does this encourage children to spray paint on public buildings?

While we love the raw energy of street art, we also teach the importance of 'legal' walls and community respect. We explain the difference between graffiti as an art form and simple vandalism. By giving children a dedicated, legal space to express themselves in Samara, we actually help them understand the value of public spaces and the work that goes into creating professional murals.

Local culture

Samara has always been a city of incredible movement and visual storytelling, from the iconic gradients along the Volga embankment to the secret gems of street art hidden in the historic courtyards. Our workshops tap into this local spirit of innovation. We love bringing the urban energy of Samara’s growing art scene directly to your school gates. Whether your pupils are inspired by the city’s space-age history or the natural beauty of the Zhiguli Mountains, we help them translate those local vibes into modern graffiti styles. 🎨

Fun fact: Did you know Samara is often called the "Space Capital" of Russia? We often encourage kids to incorporate rockets and stars into their graffiti designs to celebrate our city's amazing heritage! 🚀
