Do I need prior graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely not! While we love working with seasoned artists, our Samara teacher training is designed for educators of all skill levels. We teach you the fundamental 'physics' of spray cans, basic strokes, and safety protocols from the ground up. By the end of the session, you’ll have the technical confidence to demonstrate techniques to your students and manage a classroom full of budding street artists with ease.

How do you handle safety and fumes during the workshop?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respirators, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. During the workshop, we cover important topics like proper ventilation, fire safety, and skin protection. You'll leave the session with a comprehensive safety checklist that you can implement in your own school or studio settings in Samara, ensuring a risk-free creative environment for your students.

What kind of educational materials will I receive?

We focus on 'Street Art as Education.' This means we move beyond simple tagging and look at the history, social impact, and technical complexity of the medium. We provide you with lesson plan templates that align with modern art curricula, focusing on elements like colour theory, typography, and collaborative mural painting. It’s about giving you a structured, professional framework to bring back to your Samara classroom.

How long does the teacher training session last?

Standard professional development sessions in Samara typically last between 2 and 4 hours. However, we are flexible! If you’re looking for a more intensive 'Masterclass' format, we can extend the training across two days. This allows for more deep-dive sessions into stencil cutting, 3D effects, and large-scale mural planning. Just let us know your schedule, and we will make it work for your team.

Are all materials included in the training package?

We believe in 'total service,' so we bring everything to you! All premium spray paint, various nozzle types (caps), protective gear, and practice surfaces are included in the price. We even set up a mobile 'protection zone' to ensure the training area stays clean. There are no hidden costs; you just need to show up in comfortable clothes and a creative mindset.

How does the booking and payment process work?

We understand that school budgets and professional development funds can be tricky. That’s why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront deposits. Once the training is complete and your team is buzzing with new ideas, we’ll handle the invoice. It’s our way of showing we’re 100% confident you’ll love the experience!

Can the training take place outdoors in Samara?

Samara is a city of stunning views and creative energy, and we love taking the training outdoors when the weather permits! We have access to various legal walls and creative spaces. However, if the weather turns, we have indoor backup options equipped with proper ventilation. Whether under the sun near the Volga or in a professional studio, the quality of training remains top-notch.

Local culture

Samara is a city that breathes history and art, from its iconic Stalin’s Bunker to the stunning murals that line the streets near the Volga embankment. The local street art scene has exploded in recent years, with the city hosting various festivals that transform grey industrial walls into canvases of colour. There’s a unique 'Samara soul' in the local work—often blending cosmic themes (thanks to our space industry heritage!) with traditional Russian motifs.

Fun Fact: Did you know Samara is often called the "Space Capital" of Russia? Our graffiti workshops often draw inspiration from the Vostok rockets, blending the "Final Frontier" with the latest street art trends! 🚀
