Do I need to be good at drawing to enjoy this?

There is absolutely no experience required! Our Samara instructors are experts at teaching beginners. We start with the basics of nozzle control and simple lines before moving on to more complex techniques. Whether you consider yourself 'artistic' or not, we’ll help you create something you’re proud of. It’s all about having fun and trying something new in a supportive, creative environment.

Is the spray paint safe for kids and teenagers?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professionals who supervise the use of spray cans at all times. We use low-odour professional paints and ensure our workshop locations in Samara are well-ventilated or outdoors, making the experience safe for students of all ages.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard after-school session typically lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of time to learn the technical skills, plan a design, and complete a final piece of art without getting tired. If you have a specific schedule or a larger group in Samara, we can easily adjust the duration to fit your exact needs!

What should we wear to the workshop?

Don't worry about the mess! We provide full-body protective suits, gloves, and masks for all participants. However, graffiti is a hands-on activity, so we always recommend that students wear 'work clothes' or older trainers that they don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on just in case. Once the suits are on, you’re ready to get messy and creative!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! Your booking includes professional-grade spray cans in a huge variety of vibrant colours, various nozzles (caps) for different line widths, protective gear, and the surfaces we’ll be painting on. For after-school groups in Samara, we can paint on large plastic foils, canvas boards, or even dedicated wall spaces if available. You just bring your energy!

Do you come to our school or do we come to you?

We are incredibly flexible with locations. We can host the workshop directly at your school grounds in Samara or at one of our dedicated creative partner spaces in the city. If we paint at your school, we use mobile wooden walls or high-quality stretch foil to ensure we leave no permanent marks on the property. We bring the street art vibe to you!

How do we handle the payment?

Payments are straightforward with Graffitifun. We don't require any upfront payment to secure your date. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed and everyone is satisfied with the results. We accept various payment methods and will provide a clear invoice for your school's administration or parent committee. It’s 100% stress-free booking!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your Samara after-school activity? It’s more than just painting on walls—it’s about building a community of young creators! Here’s why it’s a total game-changer:

Boosts creative confidence: There are no mistakes in graffiti, only 'happy accidents' that turn into cool new patterns. 🎨
Professional mentorship: Students learn directly from active street artists who share real-world tips and tricks. 🔥
Team building: Working on a collaborative mural teaches kids how to communicate and share a creative vision. 🤝
Total inclusivity: You don't need to be an "art person" to enjoy this—the spray can is a great equaliser for all skill levels!
Physical and active: It gets students off their phones and moving while they create something tangible. 💪
Zero-stress planning: We bring everything to you in Samara, handle the setup, the teaching, and the cleanup. You just enjoy the vibes!

Step by step

Intro and safety briefing: We start with a warm welcome and hand out all the protective gear. Safety first!
The basics of 'the can': Learn how to hold the spray can, control the pressure, and swap nozzles for different effects.
Sketching the vision: Grab some paper and markers to draft your ideas. Our Samara artists help you refine your design.
First lines: Head over to the wall or canvas to practice basic shapes and lines to get a feel for the paint flow.
Outline and fill: Start bringing your main design to life by outlining your letters and filling them with vibrant colours.
Adding details: Use 'skinny caps' for sharp outlines, highlights, and those cool little details that make the art pop.
Group masterpiece: Optionally, work together on a large collaborative piece that represents your school or group spirit.
Photos and 'The Reveal': We take professional photos of the crew with their artwork—time to show off your hard work!
Clean-up and wrap-up: We handle the tidy-up, leaving you with great memories and your own custom artwork to take home.

Local culture

Samara is a city of incredible contrasts, where historic wooden architecture meets modern riverside energy. The city's creative heart beats strong along the Volga, and our workshops aim to channel that local spirit into every spray. From the industrial vibes of the outlying districts to the artistic pockets near the Samara State University, there's inspiration around every corner. We love bringing the urban energy of the city's hidden street art spots directly to your school backyard.

🎨 Fun Samara Fact: Did you know that Samara is home to one of the longest river embankments in Russia? It’s the perfect backdrop for finding artistic inspiration before we head to the workshop to create some riverside-inspired masterpieces!
