Do I need prior graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely not! Our Saint Petersburg teacher training is designed for all skill levels. Whether you are a fine arts maestro or have never touched a spray can, our professional artists guide you through the basics. We focus on the pedagogy of street art, showing you how to teach the techniques safely and effectively to your own students, regardless of your personal starting point.

What materials are included in the professional development session?

We provide everything you need in the heart of Piter! This includes high-quality spray paint, various nozzles (caps), respiratory protection, gloves, and protective suits. We also provide the canvases or practice walls and educational hand-outs you can take back to your school. You just need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty.

How do you handle health and safety during the workshop?

Safety is our number one priority. We teach you how to manage a classroom of students with spray cans, including proper ventilation requirements, the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and fire safety. We also cover the 'legal' side of street art—teaching your students the difference between commissioned public art and illegal vandalism, ensuring they express themselves responsibly.

How long does the teacher training session last?

Most of our professional development sessions in Saint Petersburg last between 2 and 4 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of the movement, master the basic can-control techniques, and complete a collaborative mural. For those wanting a deeper dive, we can arrange multi-day intensive courses that cover advanced muralism and curriculum integration.

Will I receive a certificate after completing the training?

Yes, we do! After completing the Graffitifun training, you will receive a certificate of participation. This serves as proof of your professional development in contemporary urban arts. Many teachers in Saint Petersburg use this to bolster their teaching portfolios and to demonstrate their commitment to bringing modern, engaging art forms into the Russian educational system.

How does the payment process work for schools?

We are very flexible! You can pay for the workshop after the session has been completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the quality of our training before any money changes hands. We accept various payment methods suitable for both individual teachers and school departments. Simply request a quote, and we will handle the rest!

Local culture

Saint Petersburg isn't just about the Hermitage and classical ballet; it's a living canvas! While the city is famous for its imperial architecture, the underground scene in districts like Sevkabel Port or the hidden courtyards near Ligovsky Prospekt shows a different, modern side of Piter. Our training taps into this local spirit, blending the city's rich artistic heritage with bold, modern expression. We understand the local pulse and the unique ways street art interacts with our beautiful city's history.

Fun Fact: Saint Petersburg is home to some of Russia's most famous "legal" graffiti walls, where the community and city work together to turn grey concrete into vibrant masterpieces!
