Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our artist-instructors are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the cans correctly. We also choose spacious, well-ventilated locations in Saint Petersburg to ensure a comfortable and breathable environment for everyone involved throughout the creative process.

How do you adapt the workshop for different ability levels?

We take a very flexible approach. Our artists are experienced in adapting their teaching style to meet various cognitive, physical, or sensory needs. Whether it's providing more one-on-one guidance, using larger caps for easier spraying, or slowing down the pace of the demonstration, we ensure every participant feels supported and capable of creating something they are proud of.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard special needs workshops in Saint Petersburg typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high engagement without causing fatigue. However, we can certainly shorten or extend the session based on your group's specific energy levels and requirements. Just let us know what works best for your guests!

Can you bring the workshop to our specific location?

While we often host workshops at vibrant outdoor locations or dedicated street art spaces, we are fully mobile! If your group has a specific facility, school hall, or community centre in Saint Petersburg that is more accessible or comfortable for the participants, we can bring the entire graffiti setup—including plastic floor coverings—directly to you.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! This workshop is designed for complete beginners. Our professional street artists guide the group through every single step, from holding the can to filling in colours. We focus on the joy of creation and the sensory experience of the paint rather than technical perfection, so everyone can walk away feeling like a true artist.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic character' on! While we provide full protective overalls and gloves, spray paint mist can sometimes find its way onto shoes or sleeves. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are a must. We provide everything else, from the cans and caps to the boards or walls we'll be painting on.

How do I book and when do I need to pay?

Booking is simple and stress-free. You can use our online Cost Calculator for an instant estimate or reach out via our contact form. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is complete. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we provide for your group in Saint Petersburg.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your special needs group in Saint Petersburg? It’s more than just painting; it's an empowering sensory experience that breaks down barriers. Here is why our sessions are a hit: 🔥

Sensory-rich experience: The tactile feeling of the can and the visual impact of the paint provide incredible sensory engagement. ✨
Confidence booster: Seeing a massive, colourful piece of art come to life creates a huge sense of accomplishment for every participant. 🏆
Professional support: Our artists are patient, encouraging, and experienced in working with diverse needs.
Zero pressure: There’s no "right way" to do graffiti, which reduces anxiety and encourages pure creative expression.
Fully inclusive: We adapt our tools and techniques—like using lighter cans or varied nozzle sizes—to make sure everyone can participate. 💪
No risk booking: We have backup artists ready and you don't pay a rouble until the workshop is successfully finished!

Step by step

Warm welcome and safety briefing: We start by introducing our friendly artists and getting everyone fitted into their protective gear, including masks and gloves. ✨
Getting to know the tools: Participants get to hold the spray cans and learn how the different 'caps' (nozzles) change the way the paint comes out.
Practice on the 'trial wall': Before starting the main project, everyone gets to spray freely on a practice surface to get used to the pressure and movement. 🎨
Sketching the vision: Our artists help the group outline a design—this could be a giant communal mural or individual canvases.
Adding the first splash of colour: This is the fun part! Participants choose their favourite vibrant colours and start filling in the large shapes.
Learning 'fading' and 'blending': We show the group how to mix colours directly on the surface for that classic street art look. 🔥
The finishing outlines: Our pro artists step in to help add the sharp black outlines that make the artwork really 'pop' and look professional.
Group photo and celebration: We stand back to admire the masterpiece! It’s a great moment for photos and high-fives all around. 🏆
Clean up and wrap up: We handle all the messy bits, leaving the group with amazing memories and incredible new skills.
