Is previous art experience necessary for participants?

Absolutely! Our artists are trained to adapt their teaching style to the needs of the group. We focus on sensory play, tactile movements, and visual expression rather than rigid technical rules. We ensure every participant feels successful and proud of what they create, regardless of their previous experience or physical mobility. We are here to support everyone in finding their unique creative voice.

What safety measures do you have in place for special needs groups?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective overalls for all participants. We also ensure the workshop area is well-ventilated and spacious to accommodate wheelchairs or mobility aids. Our spray cans are easy to trigger, but we also have alternative application methods like brushes or sponges for those with limited hand strength or dexterity.

How long does the graffiti workshop last?

Standard workshops in Yekaterinburg typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours. However, we are completely flexible. If you feel the group would benefit from a shorter, high-energy session or a longer, more relaxed pace with more frequent breaks, we can customise the itinerary to suit your specific requirements. Just let us know your preferences during the booking process!

What is the maximum group size for a session?

We usually work with groups of 10 to 20 people to ensure everyone gets personal attention from our artists. For larger groups, we simply bring along extra backup artists so that the quality of the experience remains high. We maintain a high artist-to-participant ratio for special needs programs to ensure everyone feels supported and encouraged throughout.

Are the workshop locations wheelchair accessible?

While we love the authentic vibe of Yekaterinburg's street art spots, we also have access to various indoor studios and community spaces that are fully accessible. If you have a specific venue in mind, such as a school hall or a community centre with wheelchair access, we can bring the entire workshop to you. We are mobile and adaptable!

How does the payment process work?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexible booking policy. You don't have to pay a penny upfront. We believe in the quality of our workshops, so you only pay after the session has been completed and you are 100% satisfied. We accept various payment methods to make the process as easy as possible for your organisation.

What should participants bring or wear to the session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and old shoes that you don't mind getting a little paint on. While we provide full protective overalls and gear, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy! We also suggest bringing plenty of enthusiasm and an open mind. We provide all the professional art supplies, including cans, caps, and canvases.

Local culture

Yekaterinburg is often called the "Red Line" city because of its famous walking tour, but the real heart of the city beats in its vibrant street art scene. From the massive murals near the Iset River to the hidden gems in the Uralmash district, the city is a living gallery. Our workshops tap into this local spirit of resilience and creativity. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Yekaterinburg is home to the world's only monument to the QWERTY keyboard? It’s a perfect symbol of how the city blends industrial history with quirky modern art—exactly the kind of "outside the box" thinking we encourage in our workshops! ⌨️

We work closely with local community centres and schools across the Sverdlovsk region to ensure that the joy of spray painting is accessible to every resident, taking inspiration from the bold colours and industrial textures that define our unique Eurasian crossroad.
