Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most of our university workshop participants in Novosibirsk have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering. We provide a safe, supportive environment where the focus is on experimentation and having a blast, not just technical perfection. You’ll be amazed at what you can create in just a couple of hours!

Is the workshop safe for university students?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. Our spray paints are selected for their safety standards, and we always ensure proper ventilation at the venue. Before we start, our instructors give a comprehensive safety briefing to ensure everyone knows how to handle the equipment responsibly while having maximum fun.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A typical university session in Novosibirsk lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of your collaborative or personal masterpieces. We can adjust the timing to fit into a specific lecture gap or make it the headline event for an entire afternoon of student socialising.

Where in Novosibirsk do the workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! We can bring the workshop directly to your Novosibirsk campus if there is a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area. Alternatively, we can host your group at one of our partner creative studios or outdoor legal walls. Just let us know your preference, and we will handle the logistics to make it happen effortlessly for your student union or department.

What materials are provided for the workshop?

Everything you need is included in the package. We provide a wide range of premium spray paint colours, various nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective clothing, and the surfaces you'll be painting on—whether that’s large canvases, boards, or a temporary wall. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on!

Can we choose a specific theme for our graffiti art?

Definitely! We love working with university groups to create something meaningful. Whether you want to reflect your faculty’s field of study, celebrate a specific university milestone, or focus on a theme like 'Innovation' or 'Unity', our artists will help you design a piece that resonates with your student body. It’s a fantastic way to create a lasting memory of your time at university.

How does the 'pay afterwards' policy work?

We believe in our service so much that we don't require any upfront payment. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and you only pay after the workshop is complete and you're 100% happy with the experience. This makes the administrative process much easier for university societies and student unions who need to manage their budgets carefully.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your university group? It’s more than just spray painting; it’s a powerful tool for connection and self-expression. Here’s why it’s a total game-changer for Novosibirsk students:

Epic Team Building: There’s no better way to bond than by collaborating on a massive piece of public-style art. It breaks down social barriers instantly! 🏆
Stress Relief: Forget exams for a while! The physical act of spray painting is incredibly therapeutic and a great way to decompress.
Social Media Gold: The vibrant colours and cool aesthetic of graffiti make for the perfect Instagram and TikTok content for your university’s official pages. 📸
Skill Development: Participants learn about composition, colour theory, and scale—skills that are surprisingly transferable to many academic fields.
Inclusion for All: You don't need to be an 'artist' to thrive. Our methods ensure that everyone contributes something they're proud of, regardless of their starting level. 🎉
Professional Mentorship: Rub shoulders with pro artists who live and breathe the Novosibirsk street culture, gaining insights into a unique career path.

Step by step

Intro & Inspiration: We start with a quick, high-energy look at the global history of graffiti and how it evolved into the street art we see in Novosibirsk today.
Safety & Gear: Everyone gets suited up in protective overalls, gloves, and masks. We’ll show you how to handle the cans safely and effectively. ✨
The First Lines: Our pro artists demonstrate 'can control'—learning how distance and speed change your lines. Then, it's your turn to try it out!
Lettering & Styles: Learn the secrets of 3D effects, shadows, and highlights. You’ll practice your own 'tag' or initials to get a feel for the flow. 🎨
Concept Design: As a group, we’ll sketch out the main design for your university masterpiece, incorporating any themes or logos you want to include.
The Main Event: This is where the magic happens! Everyone grabs a can and contributes to the large-scale mural, coached and assisted by our team.
The Finishing Touches: We’ll help you add those crisp outlines and 'power lines' that make your artwork pop and look truly professional. 🔥
Photos & Feedback: We wrap up with a group photo in front of your creation—perfect for the university’s social media—and a quick debrief on what you've learned.

Local culture

Novosibirsk, the scientific and cultural heart of Siberia, provides an incredible backdrop for a graffiti revolution. Beyond the impressive grey architecture of the 'Capital of Siberia', there is a thriving underground art scene waiting to be explored. From the creative hubs near the Opera House to the student-heavy vibes of Akademgorodok, the city is a canvas of contrasts. Our workshops tap into this local energy, encouraging students to draw inspiration from the city's unique mix of industrial power and intellectual brilliance.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Novosibirsk is home to the world's longest metro bridge? While you might not be allowed to paint that, the city's scale and ambition are exactly what we want to capture in your university mural! ❄️🎤

Pricing

Every university event is unique, whether it's a small workshop for an art society or a massive freshers' week activation. Because of this, our prices depend on your specific group size, location, and setup requirements. We pride ourselves on offering fair, transparent pricing for students and educational institutions.
