Do I need to be good at art to join the workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Moscow university workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned doodlers. Our pro artists guide you through every stage, from holding the can correctly to advanced shading techniques. You'll be amazed at the masterpiece you can create in just a few hours. It’s all about the experience, the laughs, and discovering a creative side you might not have known existed.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our biggest priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paint and conduct sessions in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our instructors also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free environment where you can focus entirely on your creativity and having a great time.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard university workshop in Moscow typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a final large-scale piece. If you have a specific schedule or a shorter window between lectures, we can tailor the duration to fit your event perfectly. Just let us know your requirements when you reach out for a quote!

What is the maximum group size for a university workshop?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are a small student society of 10 people or a massive campus-wide festival with hundreds of participants, we can handle it. For very large groups, we bring in additional professional artists and set up multiple "stations" to ensure everyone gets hands-on time and expert guidance. There’s no group too big for a Graffitifun session in Moscow!

Where in Moscow do the workshops take place?

We usually bring all the "walls" we need! We use mobile stretch-foil walls or large canvases that can be set up almost anywhere on campus without leaving a permanent mark. This allows us to transform a courtyard or a gym into a temporary street art gallery. If the university has a legal graffiti wall they want us to use, we can certainly work there too. We handle all the setup and cleanup.

What happens if it rains or an instructor is sick?

Rain or shine, the art goes on! If the weather looks dodgy, we can move the workshop indoors to a well-ventilated hall or use a covered outdoor area. We always have backup plans ready. If for some reason our lead artist can't make it, we have a network of backup artists across Russia to ensure your event is never cancelled. We’re committed to making your Moscow university event a success!

How does the payment process work?

One of the best parts of our Moscow workshops is that there’s no upfront payment required. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and you only pay after the workshop is completed. This makes it much easier for university societies and student unions to manage their budgets and administration. We want the booking process to be as stress-free as the workshop itself!

Local culture

Moscow’s street art scene is a fascinating blend of massive, state-sanctioned murals and a gritty underground "bombing" culture that thrives in the hidden corners of the city. From the colourful facades of the Winzavod Contemporary Art Centre to the hidden gems in the Kitay-Gorod district, the city is a living canvas. Our workshops tap into this local energy, encouraging students to draw inspiration from Moscow’s unique architectural mix and its bold, defiant creative spirit.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Moscow is home to some of the largest street art murals in Europe? Entire apartment blocks in districts like Odintsovo have been transformed into vertical galleries, proving that in this city, size and scale really do matter! 🎨

Pricing

Our workshop prices are flexible and tailored to your specific needs. Prices depend on the group size, the amount of materials required, and the duration of your Moscow event. We offer special competitive rates for student unions and university-affiliated groups! 🏆
