Is the paint safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints that are safe for outdoor use, and we provide every student with protective overalls, gloves, and masks. Our professional artists are trained to supervise primary school groups, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and that everyone stays safe while having a blast. Safety is our number one priority in Lublin!

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard workshop for primary schools usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives the kids enough time to learn the basic techniques, practice their 'tags' on plastic film or boards, and then collaborate on a final masterpiece. We find this timing is perfect to keep their energy levels high and their focus sharp without them getting too tired.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

No way! This workshop is designed specifically for beginners. We start with the absolute basics, showing the students how to hold the can and control the pressure. Our Lublin-based artists guide them every step of the way. You'll be amazed at the high-quality art these kids can produce with just a little bit of professional encouragement and guidance.

Where in Lublin do the workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the workshop right at your school in Lublin—either in the playground against a temporary wall or on large rolls of cellophane stretched between poles. If you'd prefer an off-site experience, we can often arrange sessions at legal graffiti zones within the city. We bring everything to you, making it super easy to organise.

Can you accommodate a large group of students?

We specialise in large groups! Whether it's a single class of 25 or a whole year group of 100+, we have the staff and equipment to handle it. For very large groups, we often rotate students through different creative stations or have multiple artists working simultaneously to ensure every child gets plenty of hands-on time with the spray cans.

What should the students wear on the day?

We recommend that kids wear old clothes and sneakers just in case, but we do provide full-body protective suits for everyone. Our paint is professional-grade, meaning it’s permanent on most surfaces, so the overalls are essential! We provide all the specialized gear, so the school doesn't need to worry about providing any art supplies or safety equipment.

Is the workshop suitable for children with special educational needs?

Our workshops are incredibly inclusive. Because graffiti is a physical and visual medium, it often engages students who might struggle in a traditional classroom setting. We can adapt our teaching methods for children with various needs, ensuring everyone in the Lublin primary school community feels like a rockstar artist by the end of the session. Fun is guaranteed for everyone!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your students? It’s more than just spraying paint; it’s about development, expression, and most importantly, having a great time! Here’s why Lublin schools love working with us:

Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant piece of art they helped create gives kids a massive sense of achievement. ✨
Encourages teamwork: Our mural projects require students to communicate and work together to achieve a common goal. 🤝
Hands-on learning: It’s a physical, tactile experience that engages even the most kinetic learners. 💪
Safe and professional: We provide all safety gear and expert supervision, so teachers can relax and enjoy the spectacle. 🛡️
Memories for life: This isn't just another art class; it's the day the graffiti artists came to school! 🏆
Zero stress for teachers: We handle the setup, the teaching, and the cleanup. You just provide the space and the kids! 🎨

Step by step

Initial kitting up: We start by getting every student into their protective gear. Overalls, gloves, and masks are a must to keep the fun clean and safe!
The history lesson: Our artists give a quick, energetic intro to the history of street art, from New York subways to the vibrant walls of Lublin.
Can control 101: We show the kids the 'tricks of the trade'—how to hold the can, create thin lines, and fill in large areas without drips.
Sketches and tags: Students start by sketching their ideas on paper or practicing their signature 'tag' to find their unique style.
Practice session: Before the main event, everyone gets to spray on practice surfaces like cellophane or boards to get the hang of the pressure.
The masterpiece: Under the guidance of our pros, the group collaborates on an epic mural that represents their school or a specific theme.
Character details: We teach them how to add those final 'pops'—highlights, outlines, and shadows that make the artwork jump off the wall.
Photo op & cleanup: We finish by taking group photos with the finished art. Then, we handle the cleanup so your school grounds stay tidy!

Local culture

Lublin is a city where history meets a booming modern art scene. While it's famous for its stunning medieval architecture, the city has secretly become a playground for street artists. From the murals celebrating the city's diverse heritage to the modern displays found during the Night of Culture (Noc Kultury), Lublin is the perfect backdrop for discovery. Our workshops encourage students to look at their city through a new lens, noticing the details in the urban landscape they walk through every day.

Fun Lublin Fact: Did you know Lublin hosts one of the coolest street art festivals in Poland? The city's walls are often home to massive murals created by international artists, making it a living gallery for your students to explore!
