The experience

Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your students? It’s more than just a painting lesson; it’s an empowering experience that sticks with them long after the paint has dried. Here is why schools in Krakow love working with us:

  • Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant piece of art come to life builds incredible self-esteem in young learners. 🏆
  • Zero stress booking: No upfront payment is needed, and we have backup artists ready to go so your event is never cancelled.
  • Professional mentors: Our artists aren't just talented; they are amazing role models who focus on positive expression.
  • 100% Interactive: This isn't a "sit and watch" lecture. Every student gets a can and gets to spray! 🎤
  • Team building: Working on a shared mural teaches kids how to collaborate and respect each other's creative space.
  • Memorable results: Whether it's a canvas to take home or a photo of a group mural, the memories are permanent. 🎉

Step by step

  1. Introduction & safety briefing: We kick things off with a high-energy intro about the history of street art and a vital safety demo on how to use the equipment properly.
  2. Mastering the nozzle: Students learn 'can control'—how to hold the spray can, how much pressure to apply, and how to swap nozzles (caps) for different effects.
  3. Line work and shapes: Our artists guide the kids through basic exercises, teaching them how to spray clean lines, dots, and simple geometric shapes on practice surfaces.
  4. Sketching the design: Before hitting the main wall or canvas, each student plans out their vision, choosing colours and styles that represent their personality.
  5. The filling technique: We show the group how to fill in large areas evenly and how to create cool gradients (fades) between different colours.
  6. Outlining and highlights: This is where the magic happens! We teach the kids how to 'pop' their art using bold outlines and bright highlights for a 3D effect.
  7. Adding the details: From drips to stars and patterns, students add their final creative touches to make their artwork unique.
  8. The final reveal: We step back as a group to admire the collective masterpiece and take plenty of photos of the students with their creations.
  9. Tidying up: We teach the importance of 'leaving no trace'—cleaning up the workspace and disposing of materials responsibly.

Local culture

Street art in Krakow

Krakow isn't just about the stunning Wawel Castle or the historic Main Square; it's home to a vibrant, living street art scene! From the iconic murals in the Kazimierz district to the hidden gems in Podgórze, the city is a canvas of storytelling. Our workshops tap into this local Polish spirit, showing students how modern art can transform urban spaces for the better.

Fun Fact: Krakow is home to a world-record-sized mural! The 'Ding Dong Dumb' mural in Podgórze is an incredible sight that proves street art is a respected and massive part of the city's modern culture.

We bring that same local artistic energy to every school session, inspiring the next generation of Krakowian creators to add their own voices to the city's artistic legacy. 🇵🇱 🔥
