Is the spray paint safe for primary school children?

Our workshops are designed with safety as the primary goal. We provide high quality gloves, masks, and protective suits for every primary school student. Our artists are experienced in managing large groups of children and supervise the use of spray cans at all times. We only use professional grade spray paint in outdoor or well ventilated spaces to ensure a healthy environment for your pupils.

Do we need to provide any materials for the workshop?

Not at all. We bring everything needed for a successful creative session. This includes all the spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear, and either mobile wooden walls or plastic sheeting to create a canvas. You just need to provide a suitable outdoor space and ensure the kids are wearing old clothes, just in case a little bit of paint misses the overalls!

How long does a typical workshop session last?

The duration of our primary school workshops is quite flexible. Generally, we recommend a 2 hour session to keep younger children engaged without them getting overly tired. However, we can adapt this to fit into a standard 90 minute lesson block or extend it to 3 hours if you are looking for a more in depth artistic experience. We work around your school timetable.

Can you accommodate an entire year group at once?

We are very experienced in handling large groups. While we recommend a certain ratio of artists to students for the best hands on experience, we can accommodate entire year groups by rotating students through different creative stations. This ensures every child gets plenty of time with the spray cans while others work on sketching or stencil designs.

What if some students have no artistic experience?

We believe that every child is an artist! Our workshops are structured to be inclusive and encouraging for all skill levels. Because graffiti is a very physical and forgiving medium, kids who might struggle with fine motor skills in traditional drawing often find great success and confidence with a spray can. Our instructors provide constant support and positive feedback to every student.

Does this workshop encourage students to spray on local buildings?

Absolutely not. Our programme starts with a discussion about the history of street art and the very clear distinction between illegal vandalism and commissioned public art. We teach the children that graffiti is a powerful tool for community expression and respect for public spaces. We find that giving them a legal outlet for this creativity actually reduces the urge to experiment elsewhere.

How much does a primary school graffiti workshop cost?

The costs for a workshop in Puebla depend on several factors like the number of students, the duration, and the specific materials required. Local culture

Puebla is a city where tradition meets modern innovation, and its street art scene is a testament to this unique blend. From the historic streets near the Cathedral to the colourful murals in neighborhoods like Xanenetla, the city breathes creativity. Our workshops draw inspiration from the local Muralismo movement, showing students how Puebla uses art to tell stories and brighten community spaces. We love bringing this local cultural pride into the classroom, or rather, the school yard!

Fun Fact: Puebla is home to the "Puebla Ciudad Mural" project, which transformed an entire neighborhood with over 70 massive murals, proving that street art can unite and beautify a community!

Pricing

Our workshop prices depend on your group size, the duration of the session, and the specific setup at your Puebla school. We believe in transparency and value, so we never require upfront payments. You only pay once the workshop is finished!
