The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your primary school? Beyond the obvious fun, it’s a powerful educational tool that reaches students in ways traditional art can't. Here is why our Tacna workshops are a hit: 🔥

  • Boosts confidence: Kids see immediate, large-scale results, making them feel like genuine artists in just one session.
  • Encourages teamwork: Creating a massive mural requires communication, planning, and supporting one another. 🤝
  • Safe & professional: We use the best gear and have years of experience working with young children across Peru.
  • Zero stress for teachers: We bring everything, set it all up, and lead the whole session—you just get to watch the magic!
  • Hassle-free booking: No deposit needed, and we have backup artists ready to go so your event is never cancelled. 🏆
  • Physical activity: It gets the kids out of their chairs and moving around, using their whole bodies to create art.

Step by step

  1. Introduction & safety briefing: Our artists arrive at your Tacna school and set up the 'graffiti zone'. We start by teaching the kids about the history of street art and how to stay safe with the gear.
  2. Mastering the spray can: Before hitting the big wall, the children learn basic 'can control', like how to make thin lines, thick dots, and smooth fades.
  3. Sketching the vision: Students grab paper and pencils to sketch out their ideas, focusing on letters, characters, or the specific theme your school has chosen.
  4. Applying the base coat: Under the guidance of our pros, the kids start filling in the large shapes of the mural, learning how to layer colours effectively.
  5. Outlining & detailing: This is where the magic happens! We help the students add the sharp outlines and 'highlights' that make their graffiti pop off the wall.
  6. Adding the 'bits': The kids add stars, bubbles, or splashes to finish the background and give the mural a professional, energetic feel.
  7. The big reveal: We step back as a group to admire the collaborative masterpiece. It’s a massive confidence boost for every child involved!

Local culture

Street art in Tacna

Tacna, known as the 'City of the Heroic Action', has a proud history and a resilient spirit. We love bringing our workshops here because the local kids have so much energy and pride in their community. While Tacna is famous for its beautiful Arco Parabólico and historical monuments, there is a growing appreciation for modern street art that reflects the city's unique identity at the gateway of Peru. 🇵🇪

Fun fact: Did you know Tacna is one of the safest cities in the country? It’s the perfect place for outdoor school activities. Whether your school is near the bustling Alameda Bolognesi or closer to the quiet outskirts, we bring a fresh, urban vibe that complements the city’s traditional charm. We’ve found that primary schoolers in Tacna are particularly good at incorporating colourful, local motifs into their graffiti designs! ✨

Pricing

Every school has different needs, whether it's a one-off session for one class or a whole-week art residency. Because of this, our prices depend on the group size, the amount of paint required, and your specific setup. 💸

There’s no upfront payment required to get your date in the diary. We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is complete!
