Do I need to be an artist to join the retreat workshop?

No prior artistic experience is needed at all! Our workshops are designed specifically for beginners and people who haven't held a spray can before. Our professional artists in Lucknow will guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring everyone leaves with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of. Just bring your enthusiasm and we handle the rest!

Is spray painting safe for everyone?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. Our spray paints are selected for their safety standards, and we always conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces in Lucknow. Our instructors give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone starts spraying, ensuring a worry-free and secure creative environment for everyone involved.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Lucknow's weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. If rain or extreme heat is forecasted, we usually move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or a well-ventilated indoor space. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we almost never cancel. We’ll coordinate with you a few days before the event to ensure the venue is suitable for the current weather conditions.

How long does a typical graffiti retreat session last?

Standard retreat workshops in Lucknow typically last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you are looking for a more intensive full-day 'deep dive' retreat experience, we can certainly customise the duration to fit your schedule. We find this timeframe is perfect for staying engaged without getting tired.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

Everything is included! Your booking covers the cost of all spray cans (in a huge variety of colours), caps, protective gear, and the canvases or surfaces we’ll be painting on. We also bring professional-grade equipment that the pros use. You don't need to bring a single thing except your creativity—and maybe some comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

Can you accommodate large groups for corporate retreats?

We pride ourselves on being flexible. While we recommend a group size that allows for personal interaction with the artist, we can cater to everything from small intimate teams to large corporate groups of over 100 people. For very large groups, we simply send more artists to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. Just let us know your group size in Lucknow, and we’ll scale the experience perfectly.

How do I book a workshop and do I need to pay in advance?

Booking is super easy! You can use our online Cost Calculator to get an instant estimate, or just send us a message through our contact form. The best part? There is no upfront payment required for most bookings. You can book your date, and payment is handled after the workshop is completed. We believe in our service so much that we want you to be 100% satisfied first!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti retreat in Lucknow? It’s more than just an art class; it’s a total mental reset. Here is why our workshops are the talk of the town:

Stress Buster: There is something incredibly therapeutic about the 'psshhh' sound of a spray can and seeing big colours come to life.
Boost Team Morale: Nothing says "we're in this together" like collaborating on a massive 10-foot-high piece of art. 🤝
Zero Pressure: You don't need to be Van Gogh. Our artists make sure everyone’s work looks awesome by the end.
Insta-Worthy: Let’s be real—the photos from our workshops are way cooler than another shot of a PowerPoint slide.
Local & Professional: We work with the best local talent who know the pulse of the Indian street art scene.

Step by step

The warm-up: We start with a quick intro to the culture and history of street art.
Safety first: Get geared up in your masks and gloves while we explain the dos and don'ts.
Master the nozzle: Learn how various 'caps' change the spray pattern and practice your first lines.
Sketching your vision: Map out your design on the canvas or wall using light colours.
Filling & fading: Master the art of the perfect 'fill' and learn how to blend colours smoothly.
The outline: This is where the magic happens! Add the sharp outlines that make your art pop.
Highlights & details: Add those final 'shines' and 3D effects to give your piece depth.
The grand reveal: Step back, admire your group's hard work, and take some epic photos! ✨

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Lucknow is legendary for its 'Tehzeeb' (etiquette) and historical grandeur, but there’s a new, modern energy pulsing through the city's veins. From the colourful walls near the Gomti Riverfront to the hidden creative pockets in Hazratganj, street art is beginning to tell a new story of Uttar Pradesh. Our workshops bridge the gap between Lucknow’s traditional craftsmanship and the edgy, modern world of global graffiti. 🕌

Fun Fact: While Lucknow is famous for its intricate 'Chikan' embroidery, graffiti artists here often draw inspiration from those very same patterns, incorporating delicate 'jali' textures into their spray-painted murals!
