Is graffiti art safe for primary school children?

Safety is our number one priority! We use high-quality, low-odour spray paints that are safer for children. Every student is provided with a protective suit, gloves, and a mask to ensure they stay clean and protected. Our professional artists are also experts at managing large groups of energetic kids, ensuring everyone follows the safety guidelines while having a blast. It’s all about creative fun in a controlled, secure environment!

What kind of space do we need at the school?

Ideally, we need an outdoor space or a very well-ventilated indoor area (like a semi-open shed) with access to a wall or space to set up large wooden boards. If your school in Lucknow doesn't have a permanent wall for us to paint, don't worry! We bring our own mobile graffiti walls so the kids can still experience the thrill of painting big without leaving a permanent mark on your building.

How long does a typical workshop last?

We suggest a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for primary school students. This is the 'sweet spot' where they stay fully engaged and excited without getting too tired. We start with a quick intro, move to sketching, and spend the bulk of the time actually spraying. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy session that fits perfectly into a standard school morning or afternoon.

Can the workshop be linked to our current curriculum?

Absolutely! We love it when schools have a specific theme, such as 'The Environment,' 'Friendship,' or 'Lucknow Heritage.' Our artists can pre-sketch a large mural based on your chosen topic, and the students work together to fill it with colour and life. It’s a fantastic way to reinforce classroom lessons through hands-on, visual learning that they will never forget.

What are the costs for a school workshop in Lucknow?

Our pricing in Lucknow starts from ₹2000 per student, but this varies based on the total number of participants and the materials required. For large primary school groups, we offer special package rates. We believe in transparency, so we provide an instant cost calculator on our site, and you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed. Ready for a quote? Just reach out!

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! This workshop is designed for beginners. Our Graffitifun artists are amazing teachers who break down the techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Whether a child is naturally artistic or has never held a spray can before, they will leave the session feeling like a pro. We focus on 'controlled mess' and creative expression rather than perfect technical skill.

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: Our artists kick things off with a high-energy demo, showing the kids what's possible with a spray can.
Safety briefing: We suit everyone up in protective gear and explain the "golden rules" of spray painting safely.
Design & sketching: Students grab markers and paper to brainstorm their ideas and practice their "tags" before hitting the wall.
Can control: We teach the basics—how to hold the can, adjust pressure, and create different line widths like a pro.
Colouring the mural: The real fun begins! Everyone works together to fill in a massive, vibrant mural on our mobile walls or your school wall.
Detailing: We show the kids how to add highlights, shadows, and outlines to make their artwork "pop."
The Big Reveal: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece and snap plenty of photos for the school gallery!

Local culture

Lucknow has always been a city of incredible art, from the intricate carvings of the Bara Imambara to the delicate threadwork of Chikan embroidery. We are bringing a modern twist to this heritage! By introducing street art to Lucknow’s primary schools, we’re helping the next generation find their voice in a city known for its "Tehzeeb" (culture) and creative spirit. Whether your school is near the bustling streets of Hazratganj or the quiet lanes of Gomti Nagar, we bring the energy to you.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Lucknow is becoming a hub for "clean graffiti" initiatives? Street art is being used across the city to beautify public spaces and spread positive social messages! 🌟
