Do we need to have any prior artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely no prior art experience is needed! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at teaching beginners. We start with the basics of can control and simple lettering before moving on to more complex techniques. The workshop is designed to be a fun, stress-free creative outlet where the focus is on expression and trying something new together as a university community.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for university students?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves, masks, and coveralls to keep your clothes clean. Our spray paints are selected for safety, and our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and that everyone follows proper handling protocols throughout the entire session.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard university workshop in Lucknow typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of your masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your university's specific schedule, whether it's a quick burst of creativity during a lunch break or a deep-dive afternoon session.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We bring everything you need! This includes a wide variety of premium spray cans in many colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective clothing, and the surfaces we'll be painting on (such as large canvases or mobile walls). You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty. We handle the rest!

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We recommend a minimum group size of 10-15 students to keep the energy high, but we can accommodate very large groups of 100+ by bringing in additional artists and setting up multiple stations. Whether it's a small student club or a massive university-wide festival, we have the staff and materials to make it a success without anyone feeling left out.

Can we choose a specific theme for our graffiti art?

Definitely! We love incorporating custom themes. Whether you want to paint your university logo, a specific department mascot, or a message related to a student campaign or festival theme, just let us know. Our artists will help you design a piece that matches your vision perfectly while maintaining that authentic street art aesthetic.

What happens if it rains or there is a scheduling conflict?

Lucknow's weather can be unpredictable, but we always have a Plan B. If the workshop is planned for outdoors and it rains, we can often move the session to a covered area or use low-odour paints suitable for large, well-ventilated indoor halls. We also have a pool of backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead even if an instructor falls ill.

Local culture

Lucknow has always been a city of high culture and refined art, but lately, the streets are talking in a different language! From the vibrant murals appearing near Gomti Nagar to the creative energy of the local design institutes, Lucknow is embracing the street art revolution. Our workshops blend that classic 'Lakhnavi' soul with modern urban flair. We celebrate the city's artistic heritage while giving students the tools to create some new-age history.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Lucknow is home to some of the most beautiful architectural 'calligraphy' in India? Graffiti is just the modern-day version of that artistic expression!
