Do we need to have any prior artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely no prior art experience is needed! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a straight line to seasoned fine arts students. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring everyone leaves with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of. It's about expression, not perfection! 🎨

What safety measures do you provide during the workshop?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable ponchos to keep your clothes clean. We also use premium spray paint brands that comply with safety standards. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free environment for all university students and staff involved in the session. 🛡️

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory talk about graffiti culture, demonstrations, practice sessions on plastic film, and the final creation of the large-scale masterpiece or individual canvases. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your festival schedule or a specific seminar slot if required. Just let us know your timetable! ⏳

What is the ideal group size for a college workshop?

For university groups, we suggest a minimum of 10 participants, but we can accommodate very large crowds of over 100 students at once by bringing in multiple artists and setting up several workstations. Whether it’s a small design club or a massive college fest activity, we have the logistics and the backup artists to handle the scale without compromising on the quality of instruction. 📈

Can the workshop be held directly on our university campus?

Yes, we are highly mobile! While we have partners and spaces, we often come directly to your campus in Chennai. We can set up temporary 'graffiti walls' using stretch foil between pillars or trees, which means no permanent damage to college property. This flexibility allows us to bring the street art vibe right to your canteen area, sports field, or courtyard. 🏫

Is an upfront payment required for the booking?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'No Pay, No Stress' policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront to book your date. You only pay after the workshop is completed and everyone is satisfied. This makes it much easier for student unions or department heads to manage their budgets without the hassle of advance bank transfers or deposit risks. 💸

Can we choose a specific theme for our graffiti mural?

We love working around a theme! Whether you want to spray-paint your university's mascot, celebrate a specific tech fest theme, or focus on social causes, we can tailor the workshop accordingly. Our artists will prepare sketches and color palettes that align with your vision. It’s a fantastic way to create a collaborative piece of art that represents your specific batch or department. 🎓

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Chennai has a deep-rooted love for art, from the classical aesthetics of DakshinaChitra to the modern murals popping up in the Kannagi Nagar Art District. The city's street art scene is exploding, blending traditional Tamil motifs with contemporary urban styles. When we host a workshop here, we don't just bring paint; we bring a vibe that resonates with the local spirit—bold, colourful, and resilient.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Chennai is home to India’s first ever "Art District"? Kannagi Nagar features massive murals by international and local artists, proving that the city's walls have a lot to say! 🏙️🙌

Whether you're inspired by the waves at Marina Beach or the intricate patterns seen in Mylapore, we help you translate that "Madras" energy into your graffiti art. Our workshops reflect the city's unique blend of tradition and modern "get-up-and-go" attitude.
