Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most university students in Delhi are beginners. Our professional street artists guide you through every stage, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering intricate fills and outlines. We focus on technique and confidence-building, ensuring that even those who haven't picked up a paintbrush since school can create something they are proud of by the end of the session.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for college students?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our spray paints are selected for their quality and safety standards. Each workshop begins with a comprehensive safety briefing to ensure everyone knows how to handle the equipment responsibly. With Graffitifun, you can focus on your creativity while we handle the technical and safety details for your peace of mind.

Where in Delhi can the workshop take place?

We are extremely flexible! We can host the workshop at your Delhi campus if there is a suitable outdoor wall or open space with ventilation. Alternatively, we can arrange for mobile wooden panels or use one of our partner creative spaces across the city. Whether it is a courtyard in North Campus or a lawn in South Delhi, we bring the street art experience to you.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows for a full introduction, practice sessions, and the creation of a collaborative masterpiece. However, we can adjust the duration to fit into your college festival schedule or a specific student union event slot. We aim to provide a comprehensive experience without feeling rushed or overly long.

What materials are included in the package?

We provide everything you need to transform into a street artist. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective masks, gloves, and overalls. We also provide the canvases—be it a wall, mobile panels, or collective boards. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on.

What are the benefits for university students?

Graffiti is a powerful tool for self-expression and teamwork. For university students in Delhi, it offers a unique break from academic pressure, fostering creativity and collaboration. It’s an ideal activity for student unions, cultural fests, or orientation weeks. Participants learn to communicate ideas visually and work together on a large-scale project, creating lasting memories and a sense of shared accomplishment.

Local culture

Delhi is a city of layers, where ancient history meets a thriving modern street art scene. From the iconic murals of Lodhi Art District to the hidden gems in Shahpur Jat and Hauz Khas Village, the capital has embraced graffiti as a legitimate and powerful form of public discourse. Our workshops tap into this local energy, encouraging Delhi’s university students to contribute their own voices to the city's evolving visual landscape. We celebrate the "Dilli" spirit—bold, colourful, and unapologetically creative—allowing students to connect with the urban environment in a way that is both meaningful and exhilarating. Join the movement that is transforming the streets of India's capital into an open-air gallery.
