Is the graffiti workshop safe for children and teenagers?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks, to all participants. Our workshops in Delhi are led by professional artists who supervise every step of the process. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for kids and teens to control, ensuring a fun and secure environment for everyone involved in the after-school program.

How long does a typical after-school session last?

Our after-school graffiti workshops in Delhi typically last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This timeframe is perfect for keeping students engaged without it feeling too long. During this session, we cover everything from basic sketching and safety to the final spray-painting process. We can also customise the duration based on your school\'s specific schedule or extracurricular needs to fit perfectly into the afternoon slot.

What materials do we need to provide for the workshop?

We bring everything needed for the workshop! This includes a wide variety of professional spray cans in vibrant colours, protective masks, gloves, and caps. We also provide the canvas or surface where the art will be created. All you need to provide is a suitable outdoor or well-ventilated space in Delhi. We handle the setup and the cleanup, so it’s completely hassle-free for the organisers.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size for Delhi schools?

While we usually conduct workshops for groups of 10 or more to keep the energy high, we are very flexible. Whether you have a small creative club or a large batch of students in Delhi, we can accommodate your needs. For larger groups, we often send multiple professional artists to ensure every student gets individual attention and guidance throughout their creative journey.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our expert artists start with the very basics, teaching students how to hold a spray can and create simple lines. We guide them through the entire creative process, so even those who have never picked up a paintbrush will leave the session feeling like a true Delhi street artist with a masterpiece to show off.

What happens if the artist is unavailable or we need to cancel?

We understand that school schedules can be unpredictable. One of our biggest strengths is our reliability; we have a large team of backup artists in Delhi to ensure your workshop always goes ahead as planned. Additionally, we don’t require upfront payments—you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed, giving you total peace of mind when booking with Graffitifun.

The experience

Why should you choose Graffitifun for your Delhi school\'s after-school program? We offer a unique blend of urban culture and structured education that students absolutely love. Here are a few reasons why we are a hit:

Boosts confidence: Students see immediate results, turning a blank space into a massive piece of art in just one afternoon.
High-quality instructors: Work with real street artists who are experienced in teaching and mentoring young talent.
Safety first: We provide full protective gear and use the safest paints available for a healthy environment.
Zero financial risk: No upfront payment is needed; you only pay once you are 100% satisfied with the experience.
Promotes teamwork: Many of our formats involve creating a large mural together, teaching kids how to collaborate effectively.
Reliable service: With our backup artist pool, you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations.

Step by step

Introduction and safety briefing: We kick things off with a quick chat about the history of street art and a vital safety demo on how to use protective gear and spray cans correctly.
Concept sketching: Students grab paper and markers to draft their designs, learning about letter structures and "tags" before moving to the big wall.
Can control practice: Before starting the masterpiece, kids practice basic techniques like making dots, thin lines, and thick fills on a practice surface.
Outlining the artwork: Once they feel confident, students head to the main canvas to sketch their design outlines using light-coloured spray paint.
Filling with colour: This is where the magic happens! Participants choose their favourite vibrant shades to fill in their pieces, learning about gradients and blending.
Adding shadows and 3D: To make the art pop, our artists teach how to add shadows and 3D effects, a classic staple of Delhi\'s street art scene.
The final outline and highlights: We finish the pieces by adding sharp outlines and "shines" to make the artwork look professional and crisp.
Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate the students\' hard work with a group photo in front of the mural and then handle all the cleaning so the school remains spotless.

Local culture

Delhi has a rapidly evolving street art scene, from the famous murals in Lodhi Art District to the hidden gems in Shahpur Jat. Our workshops tap into this local energy, encouraging students to draw inspiration from the city\'s rich heritage and modern chaos. We don\'t just teach graffiti; we connect kids to the urban heartbeat of Delhi. By using local references and exploring styles seen in the city\'s own streets, we make the experience relatable and deeply rooted in the "Dilli" vibe. It is more than just painting; it is about local students reclaiming their urban environment through positive, creative expression.

Pricing

Our workshop pricing is flexible to accommodate different school budgets and group sizes across Delhi. Generally, the price ranges from ₹2000 to ₹5000 per person. This includes all professional materials, artist fees, and travel within the city. Factors like the number of participants and the specific type of painting surface used can influence the final cost.
